Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaA little far from anything in Bedugul so you need a driver to get to the temple or any activities.

United Arab EmiratesSofa has a lot of dirty spots , it needs deep cleaning or changing . First day the towels was with light spots , and with hair , but they change it after we inform them. I think because of less customers in our days time , the breakfast was chosen from the menu it wasn’t buffet , and it took long time around 40 minutes for Omlet and sausage in spite we were alone there no other customers but next day it was faster after we inform them about the delay. There is some me mistakes in the restaurant , but generally the hotel is good and we liked the place and the people who work inside it . I recommend this hotel to stay , all what I mentioned , I think small points might be happened
The hotel Has a beautiful garden , staff was very nice

Dusun Bedugul Asri is a beautiful place, easily accessible by car from Denpasar—about a 1.5-hour drive under normal traffic conditions. It’s well located near popular attractions such as Lake Bratan, Bali Botanical Garden, Bali Handara (great for golf lovers), and Bali Farm House, all within easy reach. They offer a wide selection of rooms, which are always clean and well-maintained. There’s also a playground and a small Seed of Life museum, both of which are great for children. One thing to note: booking can be a bit challenging, as the place is often fully booked, especially during holidays. Breakfast is average, but the restaurant menu is excellent, with plenty of tasty options to enjoy. Overall, Dusun Bedugul Asri is a wonderful choice for families looking to relax and explore the Bedugul area.

SingaporeThe room is quite small, the deluxe garden view. It was quite cramped even for a solo traveller. Walls are thin and you can hear the noises made by people next to your room. I even received Airplay codes while watching TV from another guest’s Iphone! Should have more activities for the guests to occupy themselves with like planting, learning how to grow your own garden, etc.
Beautiful weather, it was 18-22 degrees throughout. Surrounded by nature, farmland and tranquility. The staff was wonderful. They were attentive and took care of guests really well. The rooms are well maintained too. They have this aromatherapy spray for pillows so that you’ll have a good night’s sleep. Gorgeous mountain view as well. The musical fountain every evening is cool too.

AustraliaStaff have basic English and need training to help guests. After being out all day our room hadnt been cleaned so we had no water either. I was met with blank looks at reception and was asked to talk into Google Translate 😳. Bizarrely I was then asked if I had “requested”the room to be cleaned! I said don’t you do it every day and was then told yes!
Gorgeous hotel. Junior suite was beautiful. Gardens are lovely and everything was very clean and well maintained. Better than photos on their website.

GermanyIncluded dinner means there is a limit of 150000 IDR, which isnt enough for the meals offered…. Means you always have to pay extra! We had termites and aints in the bathroom. We are not picky, but couldnt stay in the bathroom longer than a minute. They didnt even stop to climb on and into our toothbrushes. We also found hair on our bed (not ours, it was before we slept in it….)
The rooms were large, in our room was a shower and a tub, both with warm water, staff was friendly

SingaporeThe hotel's concept is "from farm to table," as they have gardens with vegetable and herb crops. Unfortunately, the restaurant menu had very little of that. We asked for fruit at breakfast and were told there was none, which seemed incredible since fruit is abundant in Bali. The breakfast includes only one cup of coffee; you must pay extra for another cup. The rooms could be somewhat cleaner and were missing coffee; only tea was available. The location is far from the airport. We arrived there by taxi; depending on traffic, it takes at least 3 hours (or more) to get there from the airport. There was a bar but only soft drinks and no alcohol. This hotel has the price of a 5-star hotel but doesn't live up to that expectation.
The hotel is located in the lake area and near hiking trails. Although Bali is generally hot, the temperature was pleasant, around 26 degrees with a breeze. The rooms are very comfortable, and the hotel's design and gardens are lovely. Our breakfast and dinner were included, and they offered us tasteful vegan options, albeit slightly small. The staff was friendly.

Completely surprised us. The online photos do not do it justice. Opened in April 23, educational concept and gardens, villas super clean and very modern. As a base to explore Bedugul excellent location. We used it as a base to climb Gunung Catur and visit Pura Pucak Mangu, the northern guardian temple.

Breakfast was excellent though choice somewhat limited. Evening meal was excellent but limited choice also. Surroundings and garden were relaxing to be in and back ground music enhanced the experience. 2 bedroom villa was very comfortable. Complex opened in March 2023 so everything was new and villa tastefully decorated Parking was easy. There was no need for room ac as quite cool at night. United KingdomThin walls of hotel rooms. We could hear everything our neighbours were doing and saying. Very annoying and frustrating. The music around the grounds and in the restaurant. I would prefer to hear the running water. Or if there had to be music, calming nature music. The bar was poorly stocked and staff weren’t attentive. The steamed veg was rather awful. No wine on offer in restaurant. Suggestion - offer of blankets on an evening as some guests may come unprepared for the cooler weather.
Comfortable clean beds/linen. Wonderful showers. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Table tennis. Fish (carp) pond. Food was excellent.
