Everything went well. It was the perfect accommodation for people who enjoy peace and privacy.

I like how close it was to the city, but tucked away in a secluded area. Additionally, the pool added a nice touch to the compound. It’s only one other Villa in the compound and the privacy is unmatched.

there is no one to help you if you have any issues with the Stay because it is motored by the owner, and there is only two bungalows with the pool, but it was amazing

A smaller lamp on the bedside table would have helped to create a more comfortable atmosphere in the evening. The main light was too bright.

Close to the main street, but still quiet. Privacy - there is only one other cottage next door. Nice and cozy room, nice communication and willingness.

The isolation was not great, we could hear the traffic and animals during the night. This was expected due to the cabin concept though.

Unique wooden cabin like house. We shared the pool with an other cabin house. The pool was amazing, keeping a warm water temperature. Great value for money. Many shops, restaurants, spa around in a walking distance.

The bathroom has a smell but it was not bad, perhaps an air freshener will help. The room door was a bit hard to open but I understand it may be due to the wood condition. Thats just a small one, the rest are perfect!

Beautiful villa. Kudos to the team who maintained the villa. Well kept. I have to praise the owner/caretaker for taking care of me throughout the trip. I forgot to bring my phone adapter and asked them if they can borrow me one. I also realized that the room does not come with iron and hair dryer. Shortly after, the caretaker provided me with all those things and he said he bought a new one due to feedbacks from others as well, which made me feel “awh” with such an excellent service. They also do daily cleaning which I appreciate a lot. Truly enjoyed my stay here, definitely will come again whenever I am in Uluwatu!

it is the best accommodation in which I have been in Bali. Every detail is completely taken care of and special. Highly recommended if you are traveling alone or as a couple. Without a doubt, I would repeat my stay there!!

I loved our stay at Matapalo Bungalows, the room was decorated super nice, cozy and a comfortable bed. Bathroom was spacious and clean, hot water, and a nice terrace and pool area to hang out. It was very close to restaurants and everything we needed. Kitchen has all you need. Super recommended for the price!

Loved everything. Great location, impeccably decorated, and privacy away from the busyness of Uluwatu. The owners are very responsive. I brought up a small issue and it was sorted asap. You will feel like you are in your own world then walk less than 100 meters to the road. Would stay again.

It’s quite close to the road and you can hear the car noise But it doesn’t disturb your sleep .

Best place I stayed in Uluwatu . Owners are very friendly and helpful. Place is really clean and cosy . Everyone inside is making you feel very comfortable even small design details. Bathroom is very clean and there no smell at all. There only two bungalows so you almost don’t see your neighbours. Pool was very clean and the kitchen as well with all facilities you need. Every two days cleaner was coming and changing a towels and cleaning a room . In the area around there are a lot of nice cafeterias and supermarkets

Our was great, the room was clean and the interiors were so cozy, a well-equipped kitchen, a relaxing pool area, excellent location walking distance to cafes, restaurants and supermarket. The overall ambiance was serene, great value for the price. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful.
