The bathroom could be a little better, since the shower didn't hang properly, and the bathtub wasn't properly closed. Everything else was great.

It was probably the best place that we stayed in in Sumatra. Sadly, it was only one night. The place was well organised, with lots of gardens, and everyone was nice. The food was also good. I would definitely recommend it, and wish I could have stayed longer.

Lovely gardens, beautiful setting. Room was very comfortable, the staff are exceptional. I fell ill and was too sick to go to a hospital but they found a doctor to come to my room at 8 o'clock at night. They were just brilliant!

This hotel is a gem, family run the staff cant do enough for you. Our room was large with everything we needed The food is lovely and the outside pool area is great. Ive read some reviews saying its too small but i dont think it is. I saying this, the hotel wasnt really busy when we stayed. A good base for site seeing

There is not a lot to do around the location, but we knew that. It is a great stop after a flight when you plan to go to Bukit Lawang.

We were a little alarmed to see ear plugs in the room. If we had left our window open, it would have been rather noisy with the traffic. Since the air conditioning was so good, we were able to close the window and there was no problem - had an excellent night sleep.

This was a wonderful oasis, and gave a welcome breathing space on our travels around Sumatra. The restaurant, pool and bedroom were beautiful, as was the view over the back down to the river. Outstanding staff. Delicious food served by lovely staff.

The dinner quality was not very good in our opinion. We have had way better food, even in street places. Prices of the food were good though! We wanted to arrange a taxi to Bukit Lawang but we were offered a taxi for more than twice as much as we ended up paying through another contact. We were shocked about this and a bit disappointed.

The hotel is a beautiful oasis within the busy streets of Medan but off the road so that you are totally immersed in the tropical surrounds. The whole large, expansive state is tranquil and relaxing. A really lovely place to unwind and rest. The pool is quiet, clean and appears to be in the wilds of Sumatra, with a view of the Deli River and surrounding vegetation. Beautifully kept and maintained throughout the whole property.

The water pressure in the shower was low and it was a bit cold. This is an issue throughout Sumatra and I know that this property is on the older side so it was expected. It wouldn't stop me from staying again! The bathroom overall was dated and rough around the edges. The room and property was more than enough to make up for it, but maybe in future a refurb of the bathrooms wouldn't go amiss.

Friendliest staff at any hotel we stayed in Sumatra - they were so kind and helpful. For instance: when eating dinner they brought out mosquito spray for us to use; when they realised we wouldn't be able to enjoy breakfast because of an early flight, they packed us a box each. They go above and beyond. The property is beautiful (better even than the photos). The gardens, pool area, exterior of the buildings, and the restaurant are all lovely. The room was also the best we had in Sumatra. Beds were extremely comfortable, the rooms were really tastefully furnished and decorated, and the AC worked very well.

Lovely green place on the outskirts of Medan. Maintaining a good standard with very friendly staff. Good food and a great pool on site. It’s an oasis sheltering us from the hustle and bustle of this metropolis. We just loved the geese. Threat them well. What characters, lovely.

Rooms looked really nice but there is no soundptoofing at all. There were esrblugs provided but they were too big for my ears. The loud music from nearby mosque lasted ftom 4 to 430 AM

Nice pool area, good breakfast. They provide filtered drinking water. One hour from the airport so we spent last night here.

The swimming pool is very nice but small. The showers in the rooms take a long time to get warm and it’s difficult not to make the bathroom wet. But this isn’t a serious issue. We would have loved to stay a little longer than the three days we did.

On the south side of busy Medan, this is a quiet heaven. Guest rooms are set in a fairy tale like garden. They are spacious, well designed and cosy. There is a characteristic central building with a reception and a spacious restaurant. The kitchen is high quality with delicious Indonesian and European food. The best part of our stay was the kind hotel staff. They treated us as friends, were very courteous and polite and helped us whenever they could.
