No hot water This last comment isn't so much a negative one, but just to inform future renters. I was here long term in Kuta beach. So I was switching my lodging up every three or four days. I love the hostels and socialness it brings, but at the same time it's nice to have privacy and your own space for a bit. This offered me just that. Even though it was pretty plain Jane.. what do you expect? The people were nice, and it was a private space to recharge so to speak.

The price was cheap and the change up to a large bed with your own private room and bathroom over the hostel dorm twin bed and shared bathroom was nice!

Really excellent value for money,other homestays inside Kuta are far worse concerning room facilities and infrastructure,this is just 2km out in a small strip,towards Tanjung Aan beach. Also family run,everybody very polite and helpful.

The breakfast pancake was kinda raw. One of the towels provided was damp and dirty, and the toilet didn't flush in one room. The coffee and tea station was a bit lacking, but they did refill the coffee when we asked! A water refill would be great!

Friendly, helpful staff. Really good value for money. Scooter rental possible which means location is really fine! All of our issues were addressed promptly. Quiet location in terms of mosques.

According to price everything was better than expected. A lot to improve but it would kill the on budget backpacking.

Responsive owner. He meet all our requirements. Breakfast also included in price. Good pancakes with honey or chocolate. You can rent a scooter at the place and they are in good condition. Rooms are clean and big enough. We are a family of 4 and we booked 2 rooms. Good price/quality ratio. If travel on budget, go for it.

Nice and quiet Homestay, run by a friendly family. The price point speaks for itself. Comfortable rooms, which could do with a little revamp but generally clean and with fresh linen and towels provided. Breakfast of chocolate/ honey banana pancakes every morning was a plus! Helpful organising bikes for us at a reasonable price, which are necessary even though it’s only about 5 mins from Kuta centre.

It is a nice an peaceful location, just one minute drive from Kuta. Furthermore, the owner is very friendly and it is possible to get coffee and thee all through the day.

Only slight issue was the water pressure for the shower.

Very friendly staff, they even taught us how to use a scooter on our first day:) the room was very clean and comfortable and very good value for money.

The mold smell in the room was really too strong. Unhealthy. I had to keep the windows open and I woke up during the night because a cat entered by the windows and could go out.

Steps to my bungalow were very slippy after rainfall and quite hazardous.

Really comfortable room with private bathroom and air conditioning. The room was very clean and I ended up staying here for over a week, the owners were very flexible about me staying longer! The property is secure and the gates are locked in the evening, great location to surf spots and out of the crazy mess of Kuta, a scooter is necessary to access the homestay.

Staff is extremely rude sometimes and chooses the sides off local people who wants to scam you. Also they are not honest about trips and transfers they arrange for you (thing like time of departure, total duration but also hidden additional costs although you asked about this). Breakfast is a small not well prepared pancake, every day. If you want tea with it you should not mind the insects crawling through and inside of the thea bags. Cold showers
