The staff are super efficient and so friendly, great layout with beautiful surroundings. The food is good and the cooking class is great fun.

A small fridge in the room would be a plus. Given our room upgrade we were a little underwhelmed with the bathroom (could be a bit greener as usually found in accomodations on Bali). Some more breakfast option would be welcome (just simple egg dishes for example). Food options are somewhat limited in the village itself but with motor no issue.

Very friendly staff, nice big swimming pool, nice gardens. Close to beautiful temples (Pura Kehen) and many waterfalls. There was some activity going on, with some non staff and non guest people walking through the complex. From what we understood related to a ceremony related to the owner of the complex. We got a free room upgrade as a result, so no complaints and likely a one-off event.

Be aware that the check-out from 8 am onwards (the receptionist is not at the property and we couldn't checked out). Staff was a bit confused most of the time. Upon check in no one told us where to go and that our room was located at the bottom of the village and it was quite a walk from the restaurant and main pool area. As the joglos' numbers are the same for the upper and lower locations, we were trying to get into a different joglo with the same room number.

Beautiful garden, rooms, decoration. All good! I really liked this hotel. Would recommend coming agains. Welcome fruit and drink, staff was exceptional. Breakfast was good. Notice is only local food. Pool was beautiful, but in that moment where I was it could improve on water cleaning. Beds are clean, smell good. Aircon is strong and fresh. Shower is okay and warm. No mosquitoes in the room. No roosters waking you up in the morning. Beautiful garden to walk and relax. Nice wooden rooms. Well decorated and with high roof. I loved the place.

Our room was slightly away from the main area and close to residents which meant dogs barking most of the day and night. We did have ear plugs which helped at night. Not much else to do in the evening once finished dinner.

The staff were very attentive, welcomed us on arrival and took our bags to the room whilst we were shown the complex. The room was lovely, very clean and has WiFi and flip flops and dressing gowns, mosquito nets around the bed and plug ins. Bottled water provided daily. Food and drinks selection was good. We were close to lots of water falls which were great to explore.

This place is magical. We stayed in three little cabans. Each caban has its own bathroom. The facilities are very clean and modern. The beds have a full mosquito net around. The Home has its own restaurant, with very tasty indonesian food, and a small bar, where you can have a little cocktail. The pool is amazing. And then a word about the wonderful staff. They were amazing with us. Very friendly and helpful. Gave us some really great tips on what to visit.

Very beautiful resort, peaceful- no construction around! You relax by the pool, great atmosphere, bar available all day, restaurant. Didn’t want to go anywhere as so peaceful and relaxing here! Staff are so amazing and helpful- big thanks to lady Tara at breakfast, and ladies at reception!! I stayed in small house next to restaurant- it was nice, cozy, very clean- newly built. Beautiful bathrobes, clean towels, hot shower! The problem is the sound proofing of this house- you can hear your neighbors breathing, like you are at one room. Some neighbors were loud until midnight, disturbing. Also restaurant starts at 7- so you will wake up because you can hear everything, if you like to sleep longer choose room away from pool There is nothing around so you need transport to go to places like waterfalls, Besakih temple, restaurant or supermarket

Tourist buses come through most days, but venue big enough to deal with it. It is very isolated so you need to eat and drink there etc.

Everything was amazing, I never experienced such a great time in an hôtel for that price. Room are lovely, décoration, confort, quiet, with pool view, I love it. The breakfast, at the beautiful restaurant, is super. The restaurant is also unique, I love it, Also the food, the staff, the owner...I don't have world. If I would have know that it is so great, I would have stay longer. I will come back for sûre. Thank you all the staff, they are all super !

At first we were a bit scared that we were so far away from any facilities, because in the hotel you could see that there were only tourists who were brought through separate collaborations and were going on day trips with drivers.

We chose the hotel because of its location. It is in the middle of the countryside, where tourists don't usually go. We rented a scooter right there in the hotel and drove around to the nearest waterfalls. In the end we were glad we could walk around and see the real Bali and not the instagram bali. To stay here you have to be prepared to drive yourself to other attractions. We liked the massage that was included.

This place is magic. I am sorry I wasn’t able to find out more about its story, because clearly it’s an interesting one. I was lucky to meet the owner while we both were on a morning walk. He is a kind gentleman and we had a little chat. The property is now managed by his son. It’s heartwarming to see that it’s a family business owned by locals. The garden is awesome. Take the time to explore the whole compound because it’s worth it, especially at night. I feel sorry we only stayed one night because there are lots of wonderful waterfalls to visit nearby, but they were fully booked. The room was a bit dated but clean and elegant and the staff very kind. I would really like to come back.

- Our room (16) had a damp problem, quite an overpowering smell. There was an oil burner lit when we arrived but as soon as that went out it was really bad. No wonder they lit something. But we booked and arrived with an hour and it was the last room on site so I assume they're aware of this and allocate it last, but stil... - Really was looking forward to using the amazing stone bath in the room, but soon after starting to run it, the hot water gave out. We were only there two nights so we didn't bother to ask for these things to be fixed. Last thing was their driver is SUPER expensive. It cost 450k for pick up from our previous place that was only 30 mins away. And suspiciously the same price as it cost another couple to get to padangbai harbour which is an hour away...so not sure what the deal is here but the value was real bad.

- Dinner menu and setting was really nice. Looked forward it each day we were there. - Staff were friendly and attentive. - The gardens are very well kept.
