The staff were so friendly, and the view and ambiance cannot be beat!

The distance to more restaurants, and difficulty to get a ride to and from the villa.

A wonderful stay – absolutely recommended! We had a fantastic time at this villa. The rooms were very clean, cozy, and pleasantly cool – even though there’s no air conditioning, you really don’t need it here. The climate is much fresher than in other parts of Bali, and especially in the evenings it gets delightfully cool. We slept deeply and peacefully. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive. All our requests were immediately taken care of. Once we had some trouble with the internet, and the team fixed it right away – successfully! We especially remember Tari, with whom we had many lovely conversations. She shared stories about her family and life, and it was a truly warm and special exchange. A real highlight was the large hot spring pool located directly on the property. We could walk out of our house at any time of day or night and step right into the warm water – pure luxury! The pool is spacious and well-maintained. Our children absolutely loved it and spent hours in the water – and we enjoyed it just as much. Breakfast was generous and very tasty, and coffee, tea, and water were available around the clock. One thing to note: without a scooter or car, it’s hard to get far – walking is tricky, as the area isn’t designed for pedestrians. If you want to go out for dinner, we recommend doing so before sunset. Then it’s a nice walk – just be mindful of cars and stray dogs. We found everything we needed here and would love to come back – hopefully already next year!

Best location, natural hot spring pool, bungalow with lake view

As it was a weekend its quite noisy. Fresh air during the night in the room would be good but as room has no window, you ought to open the door ! Unsafe? Room and bed itself ok but bathroom is very bad designed/not functional. Apart from that… a great place. Great staff !

The property was situated on the lake & the view was super beautiful. Staff were friendly and breakfast was great.

It's a distance from the main town centre meaning you need transport to access other restaurants. Kintamini doesn't offer short trip drivers which dies make access difficult.

I had such a great time staying here. The location is perfect, right in front of the lake, so the view is just breathtaking. My room was clean, neat, and very comfortable. I loved spending time at the pool — swimming while looking at Lake Batur and Mount Batur was unforgettable. The food at the restaurant was really tasty too. Overall, it’s a lovely spot to relax and enjoy Kintamani’s nature. I’d love to come back someday!

The view and hot spring were out of this world and ultimately what you are paying for. They are exactly as shown in their photos. The staff were all lovely and attentive. They helped us organise a trek up the mountain and a driver to our next stay with a simple conversation. The food although limited in options were well priced and we were always satisfied. Bed in the room was quite comfortable and the room as per pictures.

The bathroom had a poor damp smell to it however it did not permeate to the bedroom, so it wasn't all bad. The walls are paper thin so bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. While the view is incredible, the location is off the beaten track & 20 minutes walk from the closest convenience store.

Extremely noisy. Access road terrible. No in room facilities at all. Smelly bathroom and permanently wet. No hot water. Left at daylight after sleepless night. My husband had to get up at 1 in the morning to ask neighbouring guests to be quiet. Extremely overpriced for a bed. No atmosphere or attention to detail.

We had an amazing stay at D’Silas Tepi Danu! The property is located right on the edge of the lake, offering stunning views of Mount Batur. The atmosphere was so peaceful, making it the perfect escape from the busy city life. The restaurant was fantastic! Not only was the food fresh and tasty, but the view while dining was simply unbeatable—overlooking both Lake Batur and the majestic mountain. Enjoying a delicious meal with such a view was an experience we’ll never forget. If you’re looking for a relaxing lakeside retreat with great food and breathtaking scenery, this is the place to be!

good location near the lake with great views from the very small pool

The road to the villa is unbelievably bad, one lane so passing is impossible really only bike access road. Limited views from the room allocated. Room floor had't been swept before accessing. NO hot water in shower, staff said let the water run for 10 minutes first. Room is available on other sites much cheaper. Very limited breakfast menu and best to go elsewhere for dinner.
