Towels and mosquito curtains on bed stained. The location was not good for eating out. We needed to get a taxi to somewhere nice which then just negated the cheaper price of accommodation. Crystal bay nice beach but strong currents meant not good for swimming. Overall wish we had stayed in main town area. We had nice meal and lovely views at Amok sunset and Penida colada but both were a decent taxi ride away costing 400 k idr each time.

Walking distance to Crystal bay. Good value for money if looking for somewhere inexpensive. Nice little pool for a dip.

Breakfast’s scrambled eggs wasn’t so tasty. Would be good to include Indonesian breakfast options.

Nice staff , mountain view , near by village had a gamelan music practice night with village men. It wasn’t for performing. But it was soooo good quality to lesson over the fence.

Although the location is gorgeous, it can be a pain having to taxi everywhere as there is not much nearby (shops, restaurants, bars, attractions etc).

Gorgeous huts, clean, spacious, and lovely pool area. Good location for a secluded holiday - only 10 minute walk away from the beach. Staff were very friendly & breakfast was also lovely. Great value for money.

We loved everything

The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. Awesome pool. The bed was so comfortable and they changed sheets every day. We were there 3 days. We are 60, so wanted peace and quiet..... this is it. Remote location, but still has some amenities and 5 min walk to Crystal bay Beach. The staff arranged tours fir us, which made everything so easy. Will def be back, but for longer!!!!

Everything was very very good!

We really enjoyed our stay at Crystal Bay Bungalows! Beautifully designed rooms with all the necessary amenities and a beautiful garden and swimming pool in a nice setting surrounded by trees. Quiet and pleasant for a several days holiday. One of the most comfortable beds we ever slept in. Close to the Crystal Bay beach and Pandan beach by walk. The staff was very kind and efficient and helped us organise a driver to take us around the island. We really recommend this place!

Location and style

A great accommodation on the edge of the forest and next to a lovely bay; ideal to explore the island with scooters. Nice staff, good enough breakfast. Large comfy pretty room. Cozy little and clean pool.

I stayd in the big house, not in the bungallow. The walls are like from paper - absolutely without sound insulation, I could hear every word of my neighbors very loudly. There was a problem with getting my beakfast box. No wi-fi in the hotel, mobile internet connection on island was very bad. The from hotel provided tour driver wasn't a nice person. He did his job and took me to the wanted places, but the attitude was unpleasant, like to a piece of furniture that needs to be moved.

The hotel has a nice design and big, well equiped rooms. Near to Crystal Bay. Very nice surroundings. Tasty food is possible all day long.

You need to pay for water. And the pool wasn't clean. There was algae in the pool. Wifi was not working properly.

Very unstable Wi-Fi, maybe because of the rain but it was very frustrating. There are two hotels one behind the other, and the pool in the picture is for the other hotel. There's another lot of rain around the pool that belongs to Crystal bay bungalows.

Lovely location in greenery, step out of room straight into pool.
