Reviews of Coco Colada Bungalows

Amazing breakfast, atmosphere, staff, calmness, decoration, and so much more. This was and still is our favorite place in Kuta. A special thing about these cute, clean, modern yet homey bungalows is how spacious and well-lit they are. Sometimes you underestimate how much lightning affects your wellbeing in an accommodation . The fact that you can close the non-see-through curtains and still have a lot of light in the room (from the triangular windows above) is amazing for privacy. And the outside bathroom is super romantic, comfortable and clean- with only the moon and some cute geckos 🦎 watching you while you shower. Facilities: all lamps are yellow-bulbs (so no white hospital lights!), cute bed lamps, a mini fridge in the room, plugs and bed tables on each side of the bed, comfortable duvet and pillows, clean and good towels, big closet, and a whole body mirror (facing the bed).

Everything was amazing!! Couldn’t fault a single thing, honestly the best place we have stayed on our trip so far. Wish we could have stayed longer. Felt like a slice of home. Sammy, Dika, Gede & Otto and Nelly were the kindest hosts, nothing was too much trouble and they were like rays of sunshine. Room and shared areas were spotless, breakfast was delicious and extra touches like fruit, water, coffee and tea were lovely.

If you come to Lombok you must stay here. Everything is perfect. The breakfast is the best. They also help you get bike rental. Very lovely people. Totally recommended.

We absolutely fell in love with Coco Colada Bungalows! This place is such incredible value for money — cozy, comfortable, and cutely decorated with a modern touch that instantly makes you want to stay forever. Every corner feels inviting, and it’s the kind of place you just don’t want to leave 🥰 Breakfast was delicious every morning, and we loved enjoying it on the terrace with the best company — Otto and Nelly, the adorable dog friends. The hosts and staff are simply the sweetest. Gede and Gede were always around, ready to help with anything at any time. The owners are just as lovely and sweet — they gave us so many great recommendations for Kuta and the surrounding area, made us feel so welcomed and completely at home, and even surprised me with a birthday fruit platter, a candle, and wishes on the morning of my birthday, which was such a thoughtful cute and heartwarming gesture…🥺🥰 The bungalows have everything you need for a perfect stay: strong internet, hot water, scooter rental at a great price, and of course, the warmest hospitality! We were so happy they had one extra night available so we could extend our stay a little longer — and now we miss Coco Colada (and Otto & Nelly! 🐾) so much! We recommend this place without a second of hesitation — it’s simply perfect 🫶

You feel right at home in this small guesthouse with just three bungalows, located in a quiet alley near the center of Kuta. The hosts are incredibly kind and caring. Each bungalow is stylishly decorated and has all the necessary comfort (fridge, AC, super comfortable bed, small front terrace and a lovely open-air shower). The breakfast is delicious and generous (a choice between pancakes, toast with eggs or French toast), and we loved the huge fruit platter served every morning. Coffee and tea is available on request at the reception. And the little bonus : they love animals and have two adorable dogs keeping watch! I highly recommend this hotel if you're staying in the Kuta area.

As for breakfast, an Indonesian option would be welcome, but it's a minor detail.

Breakfast was exceptional and so was the Service and the atmosphere of the whole place! I really felt at home and could not recommend this gorgeous, excellent value for Money place more!! 😍

Everything. I love the people working there and the owners. It's very clean and quiet, also a great breakfast. They help you with anything you need. I wish I could have stayed longer and hope to be back again.

We absolutely loved staying at Coco Colada!! Sammy and Dika were incredible hosts, who made sure we felt right at home and were the loveliest people. The room was stunning with a super comfy bed, spacious and had good WiFi and air conditioning. The outside area was a beautiful place to relax in the evening. Breakfast was amazing, we tried everything offered and all of it was delicious. You also got a large plate of fruit which was incredibly tasty, and tea and coffee whenever you wanted too. Thank you all for having us - and we hope to return soon!

Coco Colada is a wonderful place to stay at Kuta. The place is super clean, quite and comfortable. The breakfast is delicious, you can choose between different kind of options. And last but not least, the staff is so friendly, helpful and charming. They gave us many tips and drop us off to the city center when we needed. All in all, we recommend Coco Colada 100%.

From the heart filled welcome Sammi, Dika and Gede are some of the most authentic down to earth people you will ever meet. Home away from home. Their rescued dogs, Otto and Nelly are your guardians of the property, keeping everything safe🐶😇🐶. They really take great care of the guests. Gede not only makes a mean omelette but is an artist. One of my favorite pieces is a portrait of a lady in the first room. The topper is the fresh fruit..when away from Coco it fills my dreams. 🤩

Beautiful bungalow, very comfortable and spacious, just a quick scooter into town, and above all Sammie was so welcoming and sweet! Plus the best, sweetest fruit I’ve had yet in Indo! 😋

Sammi and Dika are the most friendly and kind hosts. The bungalows are lovely and exactly as they look on the photographs. They both chatted to us and were very helpful with telling us places to go and places to eat. They are a little out of town but they offer rides in to town so this wasn’t a problem. The French toast breakfast was great and the fruit was lovely. Would highly recommend staying here.

Everything is amazing. Great little details. Sami and Dika are really extraordinary. From a fantastic breakfast to what to do in town. They are ambassadors for Kuta, really.. Best value for the money. A little out from center of town but they will help you with motorbike rental. Quiet, clean and kind.

Absolutely nothing.

Very cute spot, good breakfast, the owner are super welcoming , it’s very quite and peaceful the location but also 5 min from all the shops, perfect

The hosts were super friendly, when we had any issues they fixed it immediately. The place is quite new, and in a quiet part. Especially nice for light sleepers, its far enough from the nightly prayers to not wake up. There were some dogs barking now and then but nothing that bothered us. Breakfast was also great.

Such a lovely couple and they helped with me about literally alllll my needs. The location was also ok, 10 mins ride to the center with a bike, a bit calm than the center by this way thank you

I think the bathroom roof should be closed asap. I cleaned lots of mosquitoes and ants from the bags i keep my cosmetics. Also it was so hard to keep mosquitoes out when the room literally has two doors. Water pressure should be increased too.

The room was designed to make you feel like you are in your own bedroom. Comfortable, clean, spacious, bright and aesthetically pleasing. The hosts Dika and Sammie are extremely kind and caring. They treat their guests like family. And their breakfast is phenomenal. Light meal with lots of fruit, perfect breakfast. One of the best accommodation we have stayed while traveling south east asia.

We wished we stayed for longer.

Everything was great

I don’t even know where to start, I’m not one to write reviews but this was honestly the most incredible stay. Me and my boyfriend have travelled for 3.5 months around Asia so far and this was paradise. Sammie and Dika are the most kind, welcoming and beautiful souls, they made us feel at home as soon as we walked in. The room was so beautiful and clean, the breakfast was 10/10 (best we’ve had in Asia) and they both helped us out with everything we needed (scooters, recommendations etc) - they really went above and beyond. Oh and the bed was SO comfortable. Thank you so much to the bests hosts for letting us stay in one of your incredible rooms, we really do wish we never had to leave!!

That we couldn’t stay for longer :( we miss it already!
