We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

RussiaThe room smelled awful, there were not enough toiletries (we had to ask for another towel, toilet paper, and soap). The bed linen was covered in stains and looked dirty – had to ask the staff to change it. There were spots of mould on one of the walls, too.
The place is well located and easy to find. The neighbourhood is super quiet, the building itself looks nice and cozy.

PolandThe some parts of the place is going under renovation due its age and can get a bit noisy but it is part of upgrading the facilities to modernize
I actually was there in and out for business trip for 3 weeks and tried three of their rooms it didnt feel like a hotel it was Home like atmosphere despite it under going renovation. This will end up positively enhancing the quality of the stay. I am definately staying here again. Cant wait to see how even better the rooms will be when i come back

SingaporeHonestly, a really beautiful house in a quiet, secluded part of Jakarta. Quite cozy and well maintained. I had a great stay (only minor complaint - the bed linen was a bit dirty), and would strongly recommend the house. The only reason I'm giving this listing 2-stars: on check-out, I was incredibly disappointed by the staff's behaviour. I had booked the room via Booking.com for 2 nights. Happy with my stay (business trip, last minute booking), I decided to extend it for 1 more night - I did so on the morning of what was suppose to be my final day. I requested the (1 night) extension from the manager - who happily complied, no questions asked! Payment for my extra night to be made upon eventual checkout. When I finally checked-out (after my 3rd night), the manager - very suddenly - increased the room rate. He said the "in person" booking would require (almost a 50% increase in the rate), and that this was "policy" if I don't book via Booking.com This seemed ridiculous, as the policy had not been communicated with me when I requested the extension. Moreover, the rates for the same room on Booking, Tiket etc were much cheaper (without a discount) for the previous night - had I know about this "50% in person surcharge" I would have either left the place, or booked the room online. What was most frustrating, however, is that rooms are definitely not worth the 50% surcharge. I didn't get a receipt for my extra night - so I'm not even sure if the manager was simply pocketing the extra charge.
