My recent stay at Chepung Valley in Nusa Penida was a delightful escape. The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and the bathroom featured a luxurious bathtub. Waking up to Toki the gecko's calls added a charming touch, leading to a stunning sunrise from the balcony with a mesmerizing sea view. The breakfast, though entirely vegetarian, was delicious and customizable. The only drawback was the hotel's one-hour distance from the harbor, making it better suited for relaxation than market proximity. Mr. Komang, the charismatic caretaker, made the stay even more enjoyable with his humor and warmth. In summary, Chepung Valley offers a perfect blend of comfort, charm, and tranquility on the beautiful island of Nusa Penida.

Maybe we were just unlucky but our room was not so clean. Especially, bathroom. I understand this is not 5 star hotel, but white towels with dark brown stains from other guests and bathroom carpet dirty, looked like 10 years old, you don't even want to step on it. Wifi - in room number 1 - just horrible, 0 working. It's ok, you can just rest in that beautiful place without it, but in our case we needed to plan our next steps - bookings etc. Mold - i'm personally very sensitive to it, so i can say 100% that this place is not for allergic people.

Staff - very helpful, kind and welcoming. Really nice people. Room - spacious. View - beautiful, can hear snd see the ocean. Breakfast - panckakes were tasty.

Unless you're up for an hour walk (I was so no problem for me) you will more than likely need taxis or rental scooters to get around and see anything.

Located on the north eastern side of the island you are woken up by a beautiful sunrise, delivered breakfast to your room with amazing sea views. The owners are more than accommodating and organise taxis to pick you up. Its close to Diamond and Atu beach which makes an afternoon sunset hike and dinner viable without the often harsh travel conditions on Penida.

To reach the closest restaurant you have to walk for about 10 min.

I was excited about the view from our balcony! In the morning, Toki the gecko woke us up, but thanks to him, we saw an amazing sunrise from our balcony. Very nice staff, it was a pleasure to talk with him. The room was very clean. We were also allowed to check in earlier, thanks for that.

While a lovely view not a proper sunrise as the balconies have more south East directions and the neighbouring large banana tree was blocking our sunrise view. We ordered breakfast at 8am. It was served first at 9.10. No hand towels, no glasses or cups despite having a little kettle. While in Europe’s terms ‘cheap’. Here in Indonesia I feel it is overpriced for what you get compared to other properties near by that you can get for less but that also includes a pool.

There basically isn't any useable wifi inside the rooms. The breakfast timing is more of a suggestion (once 30 mins late, once 30 mins early). The water bottles were unfortunately not replaced.

The view from the balcony is nice, and the AC works well. The bathroom is slightly above average.

Everything was fine to be genuine. Would recommend Indians to visit often as this is the best place for someone who has come to a vacation to forget the hustle and busy Indian routine.

This is the best place to be in nusa penida. Such a wonderful, peaceful and Clean place. Everyone who would like to have a memorable stay with an affordable budget, this is the right place. Prompt breakfast, good air-conditioning, bathrooms were clean and even they had a bath tub, always hot water , an entrance balcony with the most scenic view of the beautiful ocean in front of your eyes. This place has everything u need for a vacation to remember. Do not forget to witness the early morning sunrise from your room. The memories will last forever. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
