There was no alcohol for sale at the bar, even though they advertised. We had to change rooms twice because of water damage and mildew mold. They offered us to pay for an upgrade. Because all the rooms in that wing had the same issues. After we got a room without water damage and mildew mold, it became a pleasant stay.

Great location, nice lounge. Amazing breakfast options. Never had that many in a hotel before.

At Barcha (bar / restaurant on the Lobby floor, opposite the reception), they provide an indoor smoking area that is not separated by walls or enclosed in a designated room. As a non-smoker, I found the smell very disturbing. Even though there were two air purifiers placed in the area—and I chose a table close to one of them—the cigarette smoke was still very noticeable and unpleasant. I hope the management considers creating a properly enclosed smoking room to ensure a more comfortable experience for non-smoking guests too.

I was impressed by hotel Chanti. When I book the room, I'm a bit worry because they do have smoking floor, and I'm sensitive of cigarette smell. So I'm afraid that the air circulation will not so good, that my room will have cigarette smell too even though I book non-smoking room. But it was clean, and I didn't smell cigarette at all in my room. Bed is comfortable. And breakfast is really fabulous, I really enjoy my breakfast time at Chanti Hotel. Lots of variety, and attentive staff.

They claimed as 4 star hotel, but the facilities in room very poorly as a budget hotel. We stayed many hotels in Indonesia, event 3 stars hotel has a proper wardrobe - by this hotel, only a place to hang the clothes which i have ever seen by budget hotel. the door of hotel is very cheapy. with the same price, other hotel in Semarang were good.

the location was fine because not far from mall that we can eat or drink coffee by the mall. the hotel don’t have a proper lobby hotel as usual, we have to out from the car in drop off which is not same level as lobby. Is not proper as 4 stars hotel. The staff very helpfull and friendly.

Weird that the way to get into the hotel is through a car parking garage. Not the grand entrance exactly when one has to squeeze through the queuing cars and their fumes in the closed garage
