Great views and proximity to Bromo! Kettle in the room, drinking water provided. Lovely garden!

As other reviews, it was very basic and worn out and really could do with the same quality of refurb we could see taking place across the hotel complex. We only stayed one full night and it suited our needs as we spent most time out hiking in the stunning scenery and mountains. The location, food and staff made up for any shortcomings 👍
Location, location, location!👍👍👍 What an amazing view of Bromo and less than 1 hour to walk up King Kong Hill for amazing views of all 3 volcanoes! Very basic yet spacious room with comfortable and clean bed/linen. The staff were fabulous and breakfast was great too with huge choice of fresh local food. They even provided a simple but tasty packed breakfast as we left in the night to catch a train.

MalaysiaTheres a smell, and i was reading review..but actually the smell probably come from the smoke mountain since the location are close to mt bromo. Its the smell of sulfur and not because of bad piping toilet issue. The view is to die for and i dont mind the smell at all.
Location wise..its superb .the morning view is spectacular! Love the breakfast buffet. Room is basic but worth the price..

United KingdomIt felt like the manager was only interested in making money. For example, we had to ask twice for hot water to be sorted, disinterested in the WiFi not working, etc. Other staff were lovely.
The location and the view were amazing. Easy access to Mt Bromo. Close to a good range of eateries. Free water. Really basic but sufficient and the location outweighs the facilities.

It is situated on a perfect spot while right under your nose is a beautiful and easy hike path to Brome (in 30 minutes I ran back from Bromo top to the hotel - walking takes for.example an 45 to 60 minutes) or the direction King Kong Hill. Forget jeeps and walk early in the morning (if you want because the view from the hotel is also beautiful) to King Kong hill; than take your taste breakfast and in the afternoon when there are not traffic jams of pedestrians (you can count the jeeps easily. 300ish in the morning and 3 at 01:00 in the afternoon). The staff is super friendly and together the clean a lot and they succeed in very clean rooms. Yes they are kind of basic but what do you get in the European mountains? More basic. Of yes it is not a all inclusive resort but a place with atmosphere - so some people better stay in a resort and go with the helicopter to the Bromo. For all contacts wifi is great. But if you love live contact: the owner is a most kind man and helps without any problem. For a friendly orice and with one of his most friendly staff he brought us to Bunyawangi. We definitely would stay longer if we should do the trip again, and walk instead around more days and skip the jeeps and keep on loving the freandy staff and unique location. Thanks for the service and comfort, thanks for the enormous location and thanks for the pleasant ride in the totally new comfortable car!!!
