The bathroom. It was clean but a little musky smell

It is very close to the main road and the jeeps and motorbikes start to drive past from 2 am when they get ready for tours, so it is very loud. Not a place to rest if you are a sensitive sleeper. Plus chickens and dogs around. The smell in the bathroom was not pleasant and after taking shower the whole bathroom floor flooded as the drainage was blocked with hair everywhere. The way the shower looks with stones on the floor etc is very nice, but not practical at all. In general looks clean, but my white socks became yellow after a few minutes. And no duvet cover or a sheet for duvet, so made me a bit uncomfortable and not sure if they wash the duvet after every guest

The place is comfortable to stay for 1 night before the trek, especially if you have the pick up included. I had to rent a bike from the village 5 minutes walk away to get to my starting point with GetYourGuide, this was inconvenient. But some tours start from that part of the mountain, so choose wisely. You may be lucky to find a gojek moto taxi during the day, but definitely not at night and no cars. The view was great and nice to sit on the terrace in the morning. I came back around 8.30am and had a few hours to chill which was great. The Warung just across the street was nice for dinner. Breakfast was an egg sandwich that they broughtght to the room around 9am.

Breakfast should be offering toasted bread and jam and fresh pancakes instead only rice or noodles were available.

Very nice and large room with a view on the lake. They organized the visit to Mount Batur which was truly excellent and fair price. Our vulcano guide was fantastic!

The room was confortable, with a stunning view over the lake, and a nice breakfast delivered in the morning. The staff was helpful, and arranged for a taxi to drive me the next day (ask for a driver named Dody, he’s quite the character and will tell you interesting facts about Bali and the Balinese culture if you ask)

Wasn't very clean, the bathroom had a really bad smell and there was no lamp near the bed. Very noisy from traffic as right on the road, but I guess that can't be helped. Make sure you arrange transport back as no chance to get a grab or Gojek out there.

The view is amazing and that's what you pay for, staff are so friendly and helpful! Nice breakfast.

Smokers on the balcony with smoke coming into my room due to the design of the doors. An ant problem which can be sorted with some attention to it.

The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Kettle and beverages in the room. Good WiFi connection. Daily breakfast menu could be better. I had fruit options and juice for my breakfast only and that was because I asked.

The view from the balcony is beautiful. The rooms are simple, and very comfortable. It’s a great location for hiking Mt Batur - you can walk to the start of the trail. The owner was really lovely and let us borrow some jackets because we didn’t realise how cold it would be.

It is very noisy at night due to the proximity to the road along which jeeps drive all night without a stop sign on the sunrise tour.

The room is similar but not identical to the photos shown on Booking.com - outside the sliding door is not a private balcony but shared area with other guests. Not a fault of the property but the Kintamani region is riddled with flies - you must be extremely quick and careful to close the sliding door otherwise flies will enter and be a great nuisance. There are very few Grab services in the area, so best to have a private driver.

The room itself is clean and spacious, and there is a beautiful view right outside. The staff are also friendly and helpful. Good value for money

The toilet is quite smelly; I don't know why. Maybe it's normal around Batur; other than that, everything is good. The breakfast is also delicious, and the staff who handles and carries our bags is also helpful. They also managed my trip to Batur Mount with a good driver.
