It was amazingly decorated, comfortable, the staff very friendly and helpful. The owner was also very kind and friendly, it is definitely a calmed nest to disconnect.

Everything was fantastic. We had a small issue with the shower and was quickly repaired.

    It had a nice garden

The rooms are a bit dark and the furniture in the restaurant is outdated/with stains etc. Pool is ok but when it gets busy it is cramped.

Calma Ubud is aesthetically beautiful and the staff welcoming and helpful. Every moment felt like a treat. The communal lounge, dining, pool area works well allowing guests to meet each other without feeling on top of each other. Breakfast was incredible - delicious and plentiful. Restaurant food was fantastic and we happily had a late lunch there one day, and dinner one night.

Decor, view, ambience, boutique feel and reduced guests, so an intimate feel. Amazing lush outlook beyond infinity pool onto rice field. Superlative breakfast and outstanding restaurant staff.

An absolute insider tip in Ubud! The Calma Ubud Suite & Villas offer a perfect blend of tranquillity, comfort and Balinese charm. The small hotel currently only has 10 rooms, but they are spacious and stylishly furnished. The infinity pool is a real highlight and invites you to relax. The breakfast is fresh, delicious and prepared with lots of love. Particularly noteworthy is the friendly, attentive staff, who fulfil your every wish and make your stay unforgettable. The location just outside the hustle and bustle of Ubud ensures a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere, but the centre is still easily accessible. Wonderful massages are offered in the small wellness temple directly in the hotel as well as excursions and the surroundings of Ubud. Conclusion: A place to feel good - when we are in Bali again, we will definitely come back

What can I say- perfection is the only word. The staff are incredible. Nothing is too much. Rooms were immaculate, facilities amazing. We originally were staying somewhere else and left early to stay at Calma. It saved our vacation. The spa is perfection. The food is AMAZING. The staff are friendly and accomodating. We’ve booked to come back in 6 months. Our new home away from home.

Calma Ubud Suite & Villas has been my favorite Ubud accommodation. Calma Villas is a serine, tranquil, white washed resort just 15 minutes out of the center of Ubud. Beautiful, large rooms containing comfortable 4-poster beds and outdoor bathrooms. You walk along a lovely garden path to the restaurant, and beyond that a horizon pool. Breakfast was delicious and I enjoyed the Balinese dinners. The staff are welcoming and helpful. I expect to return again.

Everything was perfect! Clean, comfortable quiet location, wonderful green landscape. The restaurant was very good, the breakfast and the room was great. And the staff ...beautiful, kind, very helpful people. Dian, Kadek, Enik, Dita from the reception, Konang from the restaurant , all guarded angels!

A beautiful calm and serene resort which allows you to connect with nature, yet gives you the comfort of clean luxurious rooms (spic and span bathrooms) in a village setting. Well groomed staff with a lovely pergolla, yoga area, infinity pool and good food options. I particularly like the location in Ubud and we had a.great time. The owner of the property took a genuine interest in connecting with the visitors (us) and guiding us around the area. Highly recommend a leisure stay at Calma Ubud and exploring the options offered in the hotel and in Ubud itself. Thank you.

    Everything was good.

The staff was very helpful & good!

The property looks old ,definitely needs to have peat control done as lots of mosquitoes, frogs(that make noise the whole night) small lizards & insects. When we entered to room had to smell of water in the walls & we could see patches. The AC drained was blocked so it was dripping water too, so had to be checked. The in house telephones were not working , when I made them aware, I was told it has to be looked at the technician was coming, but not a single day the room telephone worked so we had to use WhatsApp for all communication.

Need renovations to the room, need regular maintenance. Lizard found often in the area of the hotel.

The room (surga) was very spacious, luminous and beautiful, the picture doesn't do it justice (in a good way.) The design and layout was well thought out, with many little useful things available (purified water bottles / kettle / complementary treats / cutlery / mosquito repellent / umbrellas / etc.) The view to the gardens from the balcony was absolutely stunning. The breakfast was delicious and the whole staff was extremely kind and professional (Kadek, Enik and Dian were awesome, super helpful. Thank you for all your support and guidance, ladies!) Loved the pool and breakfast area as well, relaxing but also equipped for working there if wanted. The shuttle service was great as the hotel is far from the center. The good part of the distance though is that you could really rest and feel relaxed here away from all the noise and pollution. Also, there are plenty of options to have some food around if you were caught up by the rain indoors. It was a great stay. I really enjoyed it and would definitely like come back!

Minor things: as it was my first time in Bali/Ubud, the distance from the center was sometimes an issue to move around with more freedom (but the shuttle service helps a lot if you don't have an app for the taxis.) It is missing a roof protection between the kitchen and the breakfast area, and during the rainy season the staff needs an umbrella for walking less than a meter with the food to avoid having it all spoiled/wet by the strong rain. It is an unnecessary stress for the service in my view, so I hope they will improve that soon. Otherwise, it is a lovely space and they have done great. :)

Great friendly staff. Beautiful view from the restaurant. Appreciated the ease of renting motor bike at the property

A bit further from town. Would like to have the shuttle run more frequently to the main downtown area. Pool area seemed dirty
