I truly loved my stay here with all my heart! Nengah my host was the best part! She was so kind, smily, prepared beautiful breakfasts. Everything was perfect. So clean, comfortable, beautiful garden, so many great little details and so well equipped. So convenient the scooter rental and help with transport arrangements. Great location too! My time in Sidemen was wonderful. I even got to meet her extended family. ☺️

Animals surrounding the villa were noisy through the night and early morning.

Lovely little property which was carefully attended to by the staff, who was so lovely and helpful. The 2 rooms were very clean and breakfast was lovely. I would recommend the massage place next door- very relaxing with great views. Good selection of food places within 15/20 min walk.

There is a bit of noise from the outdoor bathroom of the neighbours. But that is to be expected when you are located in the local neighbourhood I guess. Komang appreciated that I drew his attention to this.

The owners, Komang and Masi are beautiful people. Komang also picked me up from the airport and drove me straight to Sidemen. At the end of my stay he drove me to Pemuteran. So we had many hours together talking and laughing. They have created a little oasis in Sidemen which is set in a lush garden.

This was without a doubt the best accommodation experience of my life. It truly felt like home to me (especially since I was working remotely during the day and ended up spending more time at the accommodation than most travelers). There are so many great things about this place: 1. The host was incredibly kind and friendly, and shared a lot with us about daily life in Bali 2. The room was beautiful, clean, and very comfortable, with daily cleaning 3. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious 4. The terrace offered a lovely view, and the sounds of birds and insects in the natural surroundings made me feel deeply relaxed This place is truly unforgettable, and I will definitely come back again

What a wonderful and heartwarming stay in Buntera. Upon arrival I was warmly welcomed by Nengah, she explained everything so carefully and made some great suggestions about her aunt Tini’s massage place nearby and a silver class. I even got a refreshing welcome drink. The view from the terrace to the most beautiful garden is amazing and so calming. The room is spacious, cozy and super clean and was also cleaned every day. There’s even a minibar and free drinking water which is amazing. The bathroom is spotless. The breakfast was so delicious with many different options (pancakes, omelette, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, juice, coffee, tea). The location was perfect in my opinion, really calm and also everything was accessible by foot. Komang was also so nice and super helpful, he had a lot of nice recommendations what to do around Sidemen, he arranged a day trip and also a ride to Sanur at the end of my stay with a good price. I also took a silver class by his uncle Adi which was really nice. I will definitely be back to Sidemen next time in Bali and definitely come back to the best homestay I’ve been, Buntera. Thank you Komang and Nengah for everything.

It is a wonderful and calm location. The garden is beautiful, the breakfast was delicious. Everything was clean and I had a really good time with the hosts. They are so friendly - they invited me to a ceremony and I learned so much about the Balinese culture. I'm very grateful for this experience. I can highly recommend them. And for sure if I come back to Sidemen I will stay there again.

The nicest, honest and helpful owners I met on my whole trip. Their kindness is so heartwarming. My host even offered me to drive to Ubud on Nyepi, despite it being their biggest holiday. I was in trouble as no one would drive me but we went early morning for an hour drive, I was so grateful for his help. I only stayed for one night but I felt so at home. The patio with a view to the groomed garden is a dream in the morning. It’s quiet and you can only hear sounds of nature at night. I wish I stayed longer to explore Sidemen!

Our stay at this homestay was fantastic! The place is truly amazing - very cozy, incredibly clean and well-maintained. You will immediately notice the difference. The room is modern, equipped with a brand-new air condition and lacks nothing. The cleanliness meets European standards - everything was spotless. It’s clear that the owners take great care of their place, from the immaculate bathroom to the sparkling showerhead and fixtures, which is not always common in Bali. The owners, a lovely couple, are exceptionally kind, polite, and warm-hearted. They go above and beyond to make their guests feel welcome and comfortable. Breakfast was prepared with so much love, and we truly enjoyed starting our day on the terrace, overlooking the lush green garden - such a beautiful and peaceful view! Oleng picked us up in Ubud and drove us to Sidemen. He is a very careful and reliable driver, and we liked him so much that we also booked him for our next transfer. We highly recommend arranging transportation directly through the homestay. If you’re looking for a cozy, spotless and welcoming place with wonderful hosts, this is the perfect choice!

Owner of this homestay with his wife were so kind and nice to us. Breakfast was delicious with many choices of food and drinks and the room has a minibar. The room looked very new and perfectly clean; the room was cleaned daily for us (we stayed 3 nights). We really enjoyed our stay here.

The place is really beautiful and the owners are the loveliest people. The location is so quiet, you don’t hear anything from the noise of the main road. I had to work online from there and WiFi was stable all the time. Hours of video calls and didn’t have a problem once. Breakfast is brought to the terrace every morning, and the owners even made the effort to serve me vegan food (even though it wasn’t on their menu). Room was super clean and spacious. Bed super comfy. I recommend the place 100%

Amazing location, close to warung, small shops, laundry and Spa. The room is clean, equipped with air conditioner and a small refrigerator with a mini bar. There is a beautiful garden outside and a small porch where you can relax and have breakfast (the breakfast they provide is AMAZING) or enjoy some drinks and the peace and quietness of the place. The best part are the owners, they will do everything to make you feel at home, they are available to contact via WhatsApp for any questions. They also provide drive service and tours with convenient prices! Do not hesitate to ask! There are some construction works going on in the house nearby but the noise is totally okay and it won't disturb your stay, the owners will talk about it on the first day of your arrival! Highly recommended to stay here if you are in Sidemen!

Of you are looking for a swimming pool of a great view on the ricefields, you should not come her. But the well tended garden is a good alternative to graat your eyes on.

There was absolutely nothing not to like. The room was meticulously clean and maintained on a daily basis. The shower gorgeous, the airco and fridge in splendid working order. All material used for building the two rooms are of high quality. Komang and Nangga take great pride in looking after their guests and it gives them joy. Did we mention the delicious big breakfast already? Carefully prepared with love and attention to detail. Without any doubt the best out of more than 30 homestays and guesthouses we visites this year.

There really isn’t anything to fault, it was next to perfect. If I had to say one thing, maybe some hangers to hang coats etc up. But this was minor as there was lots of other storage.

Me and my partner can not fault this property and the couple who run it. They made us feel comfortable and at home as soon as we arrived. They gave us recommendations, provided us with breakfast every morning and always made sure we had everything we needed - thank you both so much! In terms of the property, it was very clean, modern and comfortable. There was lots of space and places to put bags etc (which we need as two people who are travelling for a long time). It was very special being within nature, but still only a 5/10 minute walk from the restaurants. What an amazing and beautiful place/experience.

This place was one of the best places in Bali. Their homestay is spotlessly clean (definitely up to European standards). The family, Nga and Komang, will do their best to ensure you have a perfect stay. They are a wonderful family and can offer you some authentic activities. We took the silver class with their uncle and made our own rings. Their garden is beautiful, and the breakfast was really tasty. Please be kind to this family. If you sometimes hear some noise from roosters or neighbors renovating their houses, this is normal and adds to the authenticity of your stay. They opened their home a few months ago and need good reviews, as this small business provides them with a livelihood. Thank you for everything—we will definitely come back!

there was nothing I didn't like. but don't expect to much of a breakfast. The living space, the warm smiles and location are what you are really paying for.

It was a lovely room with a good size bathroom, which had only been built some 5 months ago. It's in the heart of a small village so i really got to experience village life. Great location, great experience.
