There was mold and humidity on the walls on my room. But there was not really humidity smell. Should repaint your give a fresh and clean appearance to the room

There was a rat that came onto my balcony one night, and I freaked out. But the housekeeper came up right away and helped check to make sure it hadn’t gotten into my room, as I had the door open at the time. I don’t think it’s really the property’s fault—it seems to be something common in the neighborhood.

The location! The specious of the room and the view at the patio. It feels airy and I liked the atmosphere in the room.

The shower head in my room was kinda broken and water was leaking from the side, so the pressure was quite low.

The female staff members were truly kind and took great care of me. In the mornings, I could hear many birds singing, which felt very peaceful. There’s a temple within the property, and I had the chance to witness ceremonies and enjoy the local atmosphere of Bali and Ubud — it was a beautiful experience. The room was simple but functional, and it was cleaned nicely every day.

Bedrooms doors don’t go all the way to the floor, so there is a big gap for insects to come through. I know ants are everywhere in Bali, but there were so many all over my bedroom floor and desk.

Hard pillows and bedside light (although a lovely design feature) was not strong enough for reading with. X

The modern design of some of the accommodation is fabulous.. you have a mixture of old balinese home with new modem features. The floor is especially beautiful (and very comfortable to walk on). The lady working there is so sweet and helpful, I will always remember her beautiful smile and willingness to help. There is a water filter in reception area for you to use, a fridge and outdoor kitchen area too. (This is outside so you have to understand it’s not going to be western standard.) The shower bathroom is large with hot water, the bed is big and comfortable - the pillows are large and very firm, which I prefer softer. The location is quite a long walk if you want to go to central ubud however it is only a 5 minute walk if you are wanting somewhere close to go to Yoga Barn. It’s in a slightly quieter area too (which I was relieved about given how busy Ubud’s streets are now.)

The only things that could be improved upon are mainly property related. The shower was a little temperamental and my bedside lamp didn't work, it would also be great if the filtered water station could be filled up more regularly. Otherwise everything was wonderful :)

It felt far away from the city

Great AC. Shower was good. Hot water was hot and lasted long time. It close to yoga barn, quiet area. I ended up extending my stay 3 more nights than planned.

This place is quite beautiful, but the routes are very narrow. The homestay compound is a bit dirty, and dogs are everywhere in the homestay area. The owner manages to take care of the dogs. With the prices you can find somewhere else i guess?

There was only one toilet roll and no hand towel, but once I requested them, the staff brought them for me. Note that the property is on a very small road that cars cannot fit on, only bikes, so keep that in mind if you have large, heavy luggage. My luggage was big but the staff kindly helped me from the Guesthouse to the Homestay. Also note that Google Maps doesn’t take you to the correct spot because of the small inaccessible road. Rather put in Bulan Bali Guesthouse, as you will have to walk from there anyway.

The room was basic but nice and clean and comfortable. The bathroom and shower had been redone and were nice. I had the one room which didn’t have such a nice patio/balcony like the others, but it didn’t really matter because I wasn’t there too much over my 2 day stay. The staff and other residents on the property were very friendly. Walking distance to yoga barn which is why I chose the location.

The shower hot water needs fixing. It was intermittent the first morning then cold the next two mornings. I mentioned this to the staff, so maybe it's been fixed by now. The sound of people talking was very clear from the next room. Seems to be a common feature in Bali.

The room was a good size with a lovely balcony, a desk, and was quiet. The staff are very friendly. It's a short, pleasant, and quiet walk to the Yoga Barn, which was a big plus, in contrast to the crazy traffic on the road above the Yoga Barn.

It is a homestay , meaning there are animal noises from early morning, take earplugs.

The family was lovely, they were kind and always ready to help yet hey would stay away from you business (which is a hard balance to strike:) ) , the girl who was responsible for cleaning and making our breakfast was very sweet, the room is spacious and the veranda was great , we had plenty of space and the overall cleanliness was best we have seen in Bali for that price range. We have selected the property for its proximity to yoga barn , it is perfe t to walk there. Here we also rented a motorbike for the most affordable price in Bali. Its close enough to a lot of things like supermarkets and other shops yet far enough from bust road. Overall will definitely come again.

We wished the room has a fridge. There were days where we kept milk and other dairy products and we found out the shared fridge was off. We weren’t sure how long it was out for so we had to throw away our dairy products just to be safe.

Location was central, so easy to get to anywhere. For yoga enthusiasts, it’s the perfect place because you’re next to Yoga Barn. Room was cleaned daily which was great! The staff was very accommodating and they made sure we had all we need. We had a very comfortable stay and would definitely recommend and come back again! Very clean and spacious.

No top sheet on bed just unwashed cover. Pillows were so big I couldn’t use them. No fridge in room. No walls dividing the balconies of each room. it is just 5 rooms at the back of the family compound - it’s not a homestay in that you don’t interact with the family. no one spoke English.

Very clean and quiet room with desk and lamp. Great aircon, hot shower, kettle, and hair dryer in the room. Fantastic wifi (Netflix and video calls okay). I liked the location as it was so close to Yoga Barn. Nice view from upstairs room balcony. Good value as I paid 210INR per night. Everyone was friendly.

I didn't like the fact that there was no fridge in the room. I didn't like how the advertising claimed to have a king bed in the deluxe room, but to my surprise, it was just 2 single beds pushed together. Unfortunately, my Gojek drivers always got confused with the other place named " Bulan Bali Guest House" when they try to find me.

The location was great. It is close to my friends establishment and not far from the main street.

I loved having the beautiful terrace to enjoy sunrise! Ease of access by walking to the Yoga Barn, main roads close by, coffee and food stalls. My room was meticulously cleaned every day, my bed was comfy and the room was decorated beautifully with the wood resin floors. Loved being greeted by the family and their dogs every evening!
