I had an absolutely wonderful stay here. The bed was by far the most comfortable I slept in during my entire time in Bali – truly perfect for a restful night. The room is large and spacious, with a peaceful view over the park and pool area. The property is quiet, and the adorable little puppy running to greet you adds such a lovely touch.

The bathroom could use a small upgrade, as some toilets were slightly crooked or felt unstable.

I liked very much the beautiful garden, the pool and the staff. It is a guesthouse so it was very nice to see how they live and their house. The view from the room is very beautiful. Also the position is perfect for staying in Ubud, near to the center but in a quiet place.

The room was not cleaned very well. The bathroom needs renewal. During the night I heard mice running over the roof, I even saw one in the morning.

Location - garden area, monkeys in the garden, fun for a while, but the noise they made at 6am was horrendous!

Really really dirty! Whole room needed a good clean. Sink, toilet and bathroom were so dirty - so many large black flies in the room when we arrived, and even after we killed them, there were more half hour later! Had to clean the shower myself it was that bad! Loads of black hair in the sink plug hole! So bad -we left after one night and found alternative accommodation. We did not expect luxury, we knew the place was old - but had decent reviews for the price. However, it does not take much to clean the facilities no matter how old it is! So many clean properties available at the same sort of price. Staff were unwelcoming. No smiles, no hello… we left our cases at 11am at the small reception desk - as the rooms were still being cleaned! Our cases were still sat there at 4pm when we arrived back. Mum on the desk called the son to collect our bags, he rolled his eyes! Crowd of young male staff hanging around the staircase, watching us struggle with cases. Shame because the location and gardens were good. Use alternative accommodation, or take some cleaning products with you!

We loved the location, it was so perfect to walk to some amazing restaurants, the supermarket and shops. Pool was lovely, gardens were pretty.

We have had such wonderful experience with staff at other places, would have been nice if they were a little more friendly and helpful. Facilities were just fine but towels were at a minimum and we didn’t get any hand towels/face cloths. No refrigerator in the rooms so couldn’t keep our water or drinks cool. I managed to get a hot shower early every morning but my kids all ended up with cold showers each day.

Great location — everything is within walking distance. The pool and surrounding area are absolutely beautiful.

The room has a strong smell of dampness and mold, and the odor doesn’t go away. The rooms are spacious but not clean. Towels are old. There are issues with hot water — it’s very unpleasant not being able to shower during the day or having to use cold water.

The location was perfect. We could easily walk to restaurants, shops, and the Monkey Forest.

The room felt very humid, possibly because of the air conditioning. Also, the bathroom wasn’t in good condition — even though it was clean, the sink and shower area didn’t feel comfortable or safe to use. It needs renovation. There was also no easy access to move our luggage. Since we were traveling with two large suitcases, we had to carry them up the stairs one by one.

A hidden gem in central Ubud. Off main shopping streets, down a laneway, its a fantastic surprise when you first see the gardens and pool area. The rooms are well done, large, and clean. For value for money it was our best stay in Bali.

Very nice garden, feels like at a forest. Personal is very friendly. All was good. Wants to comeback again.
