Really nice place to stay! Budhi the owner is amazing: he picks you up from the station and brings you back, he is super friendly and offers his help and recommendations whenever you need. In the morning you can enjoy some tea with him or other guest in the common are (a really nice terrace). The rooms are clean and comfortable. The location is perfect and the place lays in a backyard which makes it cozy. Thanks you Budhi - one of the best places we stayed so far in Indonesia!

Perfect place to stay in Probolinggo. Excellent value for money. The owner picked us up from the train station for free. Furthermore, he got our bus tickets to Denpasar. He got in touch with us to let us know that our bus was delayed.He called us several times to check that we were waiting in the right spot for the bus. Our phone was on mute, so he drove to find us at the bus station and brought us to the right pick-up point.

Everything ! They picked us up at the train station, gave us some useful tips for the transportation to Cemoro Lawang and proposed to store our luggage ! Also the room is pretty decent. I highly recommend it

Nice place in the centre of Probolinggo. Rooms are basic but clean, equipped with air-con. Free coffee and tea for guests. The owner is a warm and positive person, gives great recommendation where to eat and what to see. Also, if you need he will take you from and to the train station.

Nothing really. We expected a basic room, and that is what we got.

We stayed at Brak homestay for two nights, during our trip to Mt Bromo. It is a very basic room, but sufficient for one or two nights. Most importantly, the place is safe, clean and quiet. Toilet was a little wierd, but everything worked well. No breakfast option, but there is a small kitchen that can be used. Also, there is a supermarket just across the street, and some places to eat around. Overall, a very cozy place with really great and helpfull host, who we had a very nice conversation with about everything :) He also arranged the trip to Mt Bromo, as well as transport from and to the train station.

Clean, comfortable and close to the train station. Convenient if you’re planning to do Bromo. The staff are very friendly, especially Budi the owner who is so pleasant and happy to help with anything, a class act! 100% recommend! There’s a nice kitchen area with tea, coffee & cooking equipment which was a nice addition too.

The room could have featured a plug socket closer to the bed and possibly a bedside lamp. Other than this, nothing wrong for the price was very happy.

Host was very friendly and happy to chat and help with my trip/recommendations for eating. Help with laundry and scooter rental was a nice addition. Would recommend for a affordable short stay in Probolinggo.

Unfortunately all the rooms in the courtyard were taken, so we got a room inside the building with a window to an enclosed space, so it was stuffy and smelled of the stuff against insects even with the A/C. So book early and ask for a room with door and window to the outside. But the pluses still outweighed the minuses.

The owner is really nice and helpful, gave us very useful advice for onward transport to Surabaya. He picked us up at the train station too. Location is good, local place to eat next door, kitchen and fridge for guests in the courtyard. Bed was clean and comfortable.

Thi place was amazing, clean and comfy. The owner took us from the train station. He was very nice and helpful. He helped us with our trip to Bromo and Tumpak Sewu and with the motorbike. We could use the kitchen with the fridge. Everithing was perfect. Highly recommended.

The room has everything you need, it is simple but with comfortable bed, private bathroom and A/C. The host, Budi, is super friendly and helpful. He organized the trip to Bromo mountain for us and everything was perfect and so magic, and for a really good price. He also picked up and leave us at the train station, so kind! And finally he knows Italian really well, amazing host! Grazie and hope to come back soon.

The homestay was the perfect place to do an independent trip to Mount Bromo. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable and the host, Budi, was exceptionally kind! He gave us all the information we needed, arranged scooter rental and gave us a lift to the bus station on our way out. We would thoroughly recommend!

Everything was great! The owner is so kind, he arranged the laundry for us, also got a scooter for us to go to Bromo, and even drive us to the bus station to go to Malang!! The room is enough confortable, hot shower with towels and soap/shampoo provided. Water refill and even coffee/tea offered multiple times by owner. Thank you!!

Budi is a wonderful caring and kind host. He picked us up at the train station and warmly welcomed us to his place. He has been very helpful to arrange a scooter to Bromo. He recommended a hospital to do our medical check up required for Ijen for only 30k. He truly ensured we had a great stay. The place is very clean and comfortable. There is a nice common area with a kitchenette and everything to make tea and coffee. It was everything we needed for a night in Probolinggo to prepare for our next steps of the trip. The only downside was the noise from the street and the mosque but this is independent from the host.

The owner is absolutley amazing! He picked us up at the train station, drove us to an atm, arranged our bromo tour, woke up in the middle of night to make us coffee and drove us back to the train station. The room is good for the price.

Nothing! The place is the best!

Great location in central Probolinggo. The owner is absolutely the best, he caned to pick us up at the train station, he arranged for us a motorbike to drive up to Mount Bromo and he left us leave our bags with him free of charge. He took care of giving us all the good indications on how to ge to Malang by bus and he was always available via WhatsApp if we needed anything. Can’t do better in the area
