How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Smokers in communal vending machine and eating area. They need to restrict smoking to an area away from non smokers eating and drinking or better still just ban smoking on their property both indoors and outdoors. I would have rated them 10 if it were not for secondhand smoke everytime I passed through the communal area.

Verified reviewVery clean and comfortable pod room in a fantastic location in the old town. 5 minutes walk from the railway station . Very friendly and helpful staff, especially Inna, who went out of her way to help me even though she had already finished work.
Having to download and use an app for access to the building and the pod, which meant I had to have my phone on me all the time , even just to go to the toilet. This may be good for the company but is a real turn off for older travellers. The window to the pod has a roller blind which does not keep out the light.

Verified reviewIt's a really neat concept and overall a great place. The only downside was that the mattress was extremely hard. I felt like I was sleeping directly on the floor. The pods are also not soundproof, so it can get a bit noisy at times. I could hear someone snoring and could hear every sound coming from the bathroom (dryers, etc). The location is very convenient to the train station, and I was able to walk from there instead of taking a taxi. There's a convenience store and several restaurants in the vicinity also.

Pods were small and not soundproof. I could here other guest checkin in the middle of the night. You had to take of your shoes they provided uncomfortable slippers. Bathroom was outdated and not clean

Verified reviewI was presently surprised that it was a private unit. It was super clean, towels, hot shower, common area and lovely staff. I so wanted to stay longer. Sometimes I was so comfy in my pod that I didn't want to leave but that would defeat the purpose of sightseeing. I have booked already my next pod for another city.
Pods are not sound proof it's almost like the person next door is in your room in fact I woke up a few times thinking someone open my door but it was next door. But I'm a light sleeper and earplugs did the trick.

Verified reviewA great little capsule hostel right in the heart of the old town. and a short walk from the main railway station. Staff were very friendly and helpful, the capsule was comfortable and the bathroom facilities clean and otherwise satisfactory. Aircon and wifi were also good, and my breakfast was tasty. Other food and drink was also available for purchase. Recommended.
This hostel chain expects its guests to download and use an app to check in and operate the doors, etc. I hate downloading apps, and when the receptionist tried to download the app for me, we couldn't get it to work with my Google password manager. Pain in the neck. Eventually, he gave up, used my mobile phone to photograph a QR code, and from then onwards, I just used that photo to get in and out. So if you don't like apps, ask the receptionist to do that for you, too.

The check-in process took almost 20 Min because you need to download an app and create an account but the wifi at the reception was very slow. So I stood there very tired with my heavy backpack, the employee didn't speak a lot of english (I heard another woman working there speak very good english with another guest, so maybe I was just unlucky) and didn't understand that I wanted to put down my things first before check-in because they are so heavy. And after 3h the app already needed an update so I was standing infront of the closed door again for 5 min... I feel like technology is nice but a room key or card with the qr code on it would be much more convenient, so in this case it just makes it more complicated.
