Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

New ZealandThe dogs barked into the night and it actually was so loud on the first night everyone didn't get much sleep We also run out of power in the middle of the second night so got very hot with no aircon.
Loved the area and the staff were lovely the cooked breakfast was nice

NetherlandsLike some other reviews mentioned, dogs and hens are very noisy early in the morning and late at night. The shower drain was clogged, making the bathroom floor wet (did not really affect our stay).
It was a very nice accommodation. Friendly and welcoming staff. Spacious and very clean bedroom and bathroom. Beach towels were also included. When it comes to the location, with a scooter, everything on Lembongan and Ceningan is nearby (which is very doable on the islands. We didn't rent one on Bali, but here was fine).

AustraliaThe only thing that was a little annoying was barking dogs through out the night and the villas aren't so sound proof.
Location was great for us. Just minutes walk from Suku beach club that looks over the Point Break, minutes walk from Blue Lagoon. There are some sweet restaurants near by and very close to the ocean.

SpainTRIP FROM HELL!!! This is the worst place I've ever stayed at, and I've been staying in hotels/villas for more than 25 years around the world. The short version of this review, you will not get any sleep. There is a newly established construction site literally right behind the rooms, and they are digging with heavy drills and machinery that makes everything vibrate. Watch the 2 videos I uploaded on Google reviews and you'll hear how bad the noise is. You feel the vibration inside your body. This is a new site, and the noise starts at 7:30am, so I can only imagine this will go on for months. This, in addition to dogs barking ALL NIGHT, and the dogs continue along with the chickens from 5am. Remember, the construction just started, so you will not read it in prior reviews but I'm sure in reviews to come. They do not have quiet rooms. Long version: The room was filthy when we checked in, the floor was dirty, which could be felt and seen on our feet when walking barefoot. We messaged the Whatsapp number to inform them that we would like our room cleaned but they just read the message and didn't reply. I was communicating with them about a taxi from the yellow bridge (BTW do not pay more than 150k, they wanted to charge me 200k) so they do check the number. I also informed them about the dirty mugs and breakfast cutlery that still had egg on from the previous person. Mugs in the room were also dirty upon check in. This place has bed bugs and rats in the rooms. The water that comes out of the taps is brown. The outlet pipe from the bathroom basin randomly falls off onto the floor, wetting the floor. Curtain hooks pop off when trying to close the curtains. Stained bedding. Nothing was explained to us when we checked in. We were just asked what time we would like breakfast. The next day, breakfast was not served at 9:30am as we asked, and 30 minutes later, we asked where it was.

United KingdomI loved the area, Nusa Ceningan it’s really beautiful and I liked the room. That’s until at night when you can hear pretty much everything from the outside and the spiders started descending on my bed. Also there were some gross bugs in my bed the last morning and I couldn’t have stayed there another night after this. Also there some mice or something which were up in the roof and they were pretty annoying. I also decided to book and extra night as I loved Nusa Ceningan and after I made the booking on trip.com the staff manager texted me asking for more money. Trip.com reimbursed me in the end for this extra payment but this was not ok. Also I didn’t have enough cash to pay the extra fee and they told me to just go to the other island and take money out and come back ! I asked for the owners number as I wanted to talk to someone who’s actually interested in customer service but they told me they don’t have the number. Well, I hope he can read it here. The lady who looks after the place was very kind but rarely there. I loved the area but I wouldn’t stay here again.
The location. I loved Nusa Ceningan and all the beautiful beach clubs and the small beach close to the hotel. Suku is a must for sunset

AustraliaUnfortunately, when I was there, the night was very noisy with barking dogs, roosters, people, and scooters. I was unwell and needed to move somewhere quiter after only one night, despite having booked for 6 nights. Prior to arriving, I enquired as to whether there were quiet rooms but never got a response. Unfortunately my booking was non-refundable.
The cottages are beautiful, clean and new. Beautiful sparkly pool, lovely garden, easy walk to a little supermarket and restaurants. Lovely shower and very comfortable bed.

Beautiful and peaceful place to stay, most comfortable bed I’ve found so far and great aircon. Best price in this area for high quality. Staff were extremely helpful with cleaning, organising meals and taxis. There are many great restos around this area - Haris up the hill and Yuyu resto which is attached to the accommodation. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you Wayan!

New ZealandDon't book this hotel if you want to be sure of securing a room. We booked one night for 2 rooms at this 6 room hotel. The following two nights we booked all 6 rooms as the whole family was coming. The night before we found out by message that one of the six rooms was not available. We met the manager Ibu Desi earlier in the afternoon at the boat office in sanur. She mentioned nothing and sent a message at the end of the day. Then the following day the family came and we found out that not one but two rooms were not available.. eventually they found two rooms in a hotel down the road which was older and not as good. One had no hot water. Again Ibu Desi met the family in sanur earlier in the day and mentioned nothing. We found out when they arrived that there was 2 rooms double booked. The manager told us that there were long staying guests. Our booking was clearly ignored in favour of higher value long stayers. But Ibu Desi only said there was a fault with the system. Booking.com only showed 5 instead of 6 rooms booked according to her which is clearly untrue. Why would the site convert a 6 room order to a booking for 5 rooms to the hote when everything is automatedl? And even so we only got 4 rooms not 5! I feel sorry for the owner of the hotel who has left the management of it to someone who is incompetent and dishonest. Booking.com has never replied to my messages either - 2 weeks + later

AustraliaThe location was the best. There is no other location on either Ceningan or Lembongan as good as this unless you want to pay ten times the price for beach front. You can walk to Blue Lagoon and Mahana Point for swimming, snorkelling, and watching incredible waves, surfers, and sunsets. The scenery in this area was the most beautiful on the island. The villas are close to the end of the road, so there is less traffic but you still have all the facilities you need.. supermarket, fruit shop, restaurants, bars, massage, rentals etc. The family who manage the villas has a fantastic restaurant next door, which also serves you breakfast in your room. I rented a bike and managed to see all of Lembongan and Ceningan. I didn't need a scooter. The villas are in a residential area, so if you want to do what the Balinese do, get up early and make the most of the cool part of the day, then you will love it here. If you want to sleep in, it probably isn't for you. The Balinese people have animals and children and work to do, so you will hear a lot of noise early in the morning. I got up at the same time as the locals and enjoyed it very much. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, clean, and simple. Bring your own tea and coffee bags. A large water dispenser is available at reception to fill your bottles so you don't need to buy water. The 6 villas are very close together, so it creates an intimate environment where you can easily chat to your neighbours. If you want complete privacy from your balcony, look elsewhere. The outlook over the pool is lovely. The staff are friendly and helpful. If this is the kind of experience you want, you will not find better value for what you get anywhere else.

United KingdomThere was honestly nothing we didn’t like! Just three things to note: 1. The Wi-Fi started to drop sometimes as more guests arrived. 2. Somedays we got fresh towels during room service but other days we didn’t. 3. You will need a scooter to get around which is 80k per day.
10/10 would recommend staying here at Blue Sky Villa. Everything was just perfect from the service, cleanliness, location and facilities. I think it’s probably one of the best villas on the island where you get your value for money and excellent customer service. We wanted to extend our stay because we loved it so much however, all the rooms were booked up.

They were very helpful with our ferry tickets, transportation and motorbike rental. They are always smiling and welcoming. The room is very big and clean. Everything is new, bed is super comfy. It is cleaned every day. It was very enjoyable to spend time by the pool. They have a restaurant right next to them, so they also offer food service. Close to Mahana Point and beach. There is a market next to place for your all needs. Hope to see you again💖🏄
