There are still those places in the world that are effortlessly beautiful and good. BK homestay is one of them. With unbeatable location in front of the main point, good sized, clean and comfortable rooms and amazing staff is difficult to think of anything better for the price. BK Homestay is perfectly located in Batukaras - right next to the main surfspot, as well as some nice restaurants and shops. The room is basic but well cleaned, and has a very comfortable bed and a lovely balcony. The host Kammal and owner Ali are very friendly (just like everyone else in Batukaras), and will help you out with anything you may need during your stay!

We had an amazing stay at BK homestay! Kammal (the host) was super helpful and kind. He helped us with everything from laundry to arranging a boat trip on the river. We originally booked for two weeks, but ended up staying for almost five! The location was perfect for surfing and the atmosphere in Batukaras is calm and friendly. Can’t wait to come back!

It's just more than my expectations! The room has just been renovated so everything is new and clean. Walking distance to the surf spot, you can even see the beach from the balcony. The cafe is just on the first floor. The owner is friendly, he will give you any information you need. If there is a mirror that would be great. No toiletry provided but you can buy at the local shops nearby.

No soap or shampoo, so bring your own.

Very comfortable room with all the essential amenities. Hot water in the shower and clean sheets. The location is very quiet and peaceful, right next to a great beach. Good value for money.

Great stay in Batukaras! Dont expect any luxury but if you are happy with the basics this is a 10/10. The host was amazing, he gave us a lot of tips where to go to (we had a scooter which is great to get around). Batukaras in a small little fishing / surfing village and feels very welcoming. We also went with him on a full day tour which was absolutely amazing!! We had the best day exploring the countryside. He gave us all kind of local insights and took us on roads we would have never done ourselves. Thank you so much!

We booked 1 night in bk homestay and ended up staying almost a month. Kammal was the best helping us in whatever we needed, from renting scooter, surfboard, to all the info for extend our visas or even giving us the tools to make bracelets, we really owe a big thank to Kammal. The position of the homestay is the best if you want to surf as it is right in front of the most famous surf break in Batukaras. We really liked that we could use the kitchen. When we left the place was going under renovation. If we come back to Batukaras for sure we will be staying here. Thanks bk!

Simple place, but with all you need for a great surfcation in Batukaras. I was only supposed to stay a few days, but ended up staying over a week because I enjoyed my time there so much 😊 BK is located right by the point, so you can be in the water within a minute, and it is close to different restaurants and warungs. Kammal, who has the place, is a great host. He showed me different local sights like the Green Valley and a ram fight, and he is all in all really fun to hang out with and super helpful! the owner is super nice and helps you with anything, he even made us dinner. The localization is perfect, close to the surfing spot.

The room was great with a nice balcony. The area is also amazing for surfing or just chilling. You could refill your water in the kitchen, could get your laundry done and even rent scooters. The host was absolutely nice and helped us so much. We could also book a surfing lesson over him for the next morning. Can recommend to anyone to stay here! :)

Perfect the way it is

Too good to be true. The place is literally in the best Spot for surfing. You can find shops, typical Indonesian restaurant’s and caffe within 10 minutes by walk. The Grand Canyon is at 15 minutes by motorbike.
