Bedhot is a really peaceful, comfortable place that really feels like a home. The room was very clean, with a great comfortable bed and cool AC (you need it !). The team was exceptional, and advised me on so many cool things to do, such as batik art class, cooking class in an authentic small village, and I even took a bike ride with the local cyclists. I highly recommend staying there and chatting with the great team !

Would be nice if they have an extension cord in every room so you can have your phone next to your bed when charging overnight. When asked they gave me one.

Staff are very friendly, curteous and accomodating. Food is cheap and tasty. Service is exceptional. There is no fridge in the room. But that was ok. I will come again if i have the chance. Thank you for looling after us well.

The meals were simple Indonesian dishes with a few western variations. A nice Javanese chicken curry and some Gado Gado would have completed my memories of food in Yogyakarta.

I loved the outdoor areas, the Joglo sitting area with the antique furniture, the outside dining area, the seating area outside my room. It was a lovely place to sit and read and meet other travelers. The staff were very helpful in helping me plan my day trips to the various temples, especially to temples on the way to Prambanan, to Ratu Boko, the Dieng Plateau, and many other suggestions once they understood how keen I was. The drivers the arranged were excellent for a solo traveller and history buff like me. The location, near the ring road meant we could get onto it quickly and be otw without having the hassle of inner-city traffic.

We could only stay for a week, not a month or more.

Simply wonderful, really fantastic. I had hoped for a traditional Javanese homestay with gardens in comfortable outdoor areas and Java house architecture, which it most definitely is, and I also hoped for the warm, friendly hospitality that the Javanese are famous for, but I didn't expect to make lifelong friends with the cheerful staff, and be treated like long-lost family. Thank you Bedhot and all your delightful crew for a most memorable experience that will stay with me and my boys for a lifetime. The breakfasts were outstanding, the rooms clean and tidy and quiet, and helping us with everything from where to get local taxis, transport to temples, and to how to pronounce Bahasa was greatly appreciated. l can't wait to return and share our time together again, we miss you all terribly already and only left this morning. Hopefully see you all again soon.

It had a nice lobby to relax in, and you didn't feel like you were in the middle of the city at all. Very quiet. The people there were very helpful and assisted you with all your problems.

Nothing about the place itself, but if you're planning on staying for a short time, don't bother visiting yogyakarta centre where there's not much to see, but book tours with the property (borobudur, volcano, nature...) which are really good value for the price and definitely worth it.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff, good rooms in traditional jawanese style, really cosy common area. Definitely recommended!

A quiet location set amongst a lunch green garden. Very spacious rooms with a private bathroom, AC, towels, shampoo, soap and a patio with chairs. The staff were very welcoming, providing for all our needs.

It is my second stay in Bedhot Homestay and it is the perfect place to spend few days in Yogya. Being outside the city makes it very quiet. The Homestay is of javanese style with lots of decorations but also lots of trees and plants. The common areas are really great to relax. The room is big, nicely decorated too and comfortable. They also have a restaurant. But what make makes the place special is the staff! Everyone is so friendly and helpful. They really know the area so they all give you plenty of advices to discover the countryside. The motorbike I rent there was of great quality and I had a great time driving around. The staff also helps you to organize the rest of your trip. They can help you to book bus, train, private car, etc! I stayed a week and could have spent more days because there is so much to discover beyond just the temples. I recommend 100% Bedhot Homestay. You surely won't regret it. Thank you all for making my stay so memorable.

A really lovely homestay in a great location. Nicely furnished, comfortable and very relaxing. The communal spaces were fantastic, great places to sit back and enjoy a drink or some food - which was prepared to order and delicious. Lovely homestay! Encapsulated the heart of Yogyakarta and was beautifully decorated. The room was amazingly spacious and clean. The staff were great and packed us a breakfast when leaving early for a temples tour. This place was 20 mins out the city centre however doesn’t cost much to use GoJek from the station - worth it to be away from the hustle and bustle! Shame we couldn’t stay for long but hope to be back sometime soon!

This place is amazing. Just a 10 min ride away from the center will make your stay in yogya calm and chill. From day one the owner and the staff give you a nice warm welcome and will help you with everything you need, from scooters to laundry to day trips. It wasn't that close to the center, but I liked that it was quiet and there were no crowds of tourists.

I really liked this place. It was authentic, the hotel's grounds were beautiful and large, and the furniture in the room was very beautiful. The staff was very friendly and caring. They prepared excellent breakfasts and dinners, and provided snacks freely available. They helped me arrange an excursion and a driver to Borobudur and prambanan. I highly recommend taking advantage of this. The internet was enough for work

Perfect comfy place. The staff is super friendly and kind. They are always eager to help with anything. We needed to check out early at 5:30 am and they prepared toasts for us so we could eat on the way :). Thanks for the amazing hospitality!
