Picking crumbs, but sometimes it was a bit difficult to communicate with the staff, and they weren't as smiley friendly as you get used to in other parts of Indonesia. But that's really just being picky, we had an amazing stay 🤩

The view! We didn't see Batur at night, but had an amazing sunrise. The loft was super clean with amazing bedding and built in furniture and lovely bathroom. We did agree on the slightly musty smell some people mentioned, but it was truly ok. The restaurant upstairs provides in room dining and also breakfast. The owner was so nice about suggestions for sightseeing and organised a lovely driver for us.

Going to reception there needs to be a bar to hold on to as some people with our party were seniors and it was difficult to navigate. Also from side walk and parking needs to be patched up and out side is messy and we are dodging puddles and holes

Well this is our second stay here and its definitely better then three years ago. The view is still amazing and rooms were better kept.

The entry is difficult to find, and the stairs to the rooms are steep, irregular and narrow, becoming narrower as you step down. That can't be changed now!! There is no desk/table in the room, small point, but it would be helpful.

The View......the View......and THE VIEW I've been a regular here, every couple of months for a night, enroute Lovina to Ubud by motorcycle. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean, if a little small, but the bed is comfortable, bathroom functional, wifi fast and reliable. Coffee and tea making facilities are provided, and free water to refill your bottles or the room jug is available in reception. There is a small table and chairs on the verandah, and the ever present VIEW!!.

The staff seems to worry a lot about the newly renovated rooms. The breakfast is ok, but not something to look forward to.

The key feature of this property is the fantastic, unbeatable view of Batur mountain, the lake and the whole caldera around it. We stayed at the loft, which was comfortable and provided mesmerising view through the whole day. You can watch the sunrise right from your bed or get out to the balcony and enjoy the morning bird sounds accompany it. The loft itself seems to be newly renovated. The design is nice, yet some materials are obviously a little bit flimpsy, so you gotta be careful not to break something. That being said, we still enjoyed our stay very very much. Please be aware of the many many steps you need to take down to the property.

There was nothing really that I didn’t like. Perhaps some information about the local area available to read would be helpful.

The location was beautiful! Opening the door to the private balcony and seeing the view of Mt Batur, the black lava and the lake was wonderful! The room was very comfortable and the bathroom was good. We extended out stay and had to change rooms and although the second room was nice for a cheaper option, and still had a view from the shared verandah, if your budget allows I’d recommend the Loft rooms. The staff were friendly, helpful with carrying bags down stairs to rooms. This is the north of Bali though so don’t expect everybody to be fluent in English, nothing that Google translate can’t sort for you though! Access to filtered water was appreciated!

It's a little hard to find on first visit, and the stair down to reception are precarious, but otherwise things are good.

The view is what makes Batur view Homestay. It has probably the best view of Gunung and Danau Batur. It's a good standard, bed comfortable, wifi fast and reliable. Breakfast is quite good, the usual mi and nasi, but also pancakes and a Buddha bowl, plus tea or coffee. I've been a regular here for some years, and I keep coming back!!

They don't have an elevator, but the staff is helpful. The drone from another guest keeps flying close to our window and balcony, which is a little bit intrusive to our privacy

The view 100% perfect, from the room or restaurant. Breakfast was good enough! The Mie Goreng was perfect, you should definitely try it. There is close with a famous cafe in Kintamani, also an Alfamart convenience store

I found that it is a dirty stain on our linen. And somehow, the pillow case all 4 is smells of been used and dirty mark. Looks like the linen and pillow cases have not been changed by the housekeeping . The kettle in my room is not working, so I have to boil hot water from the other room. The bathroom is nice and new ,but there is an unpleasant odore coming from the floor.

I like the view from my room. It's breathtaking view, to wake up in the morning. The room looks new and has good furniture.

The staircase is quite steep. Not accessible to wheel chair customers. The wash room has some smell. Since it has no air-conditioning the hotel should provide a standing fan just to circulate the air when it gets warmer in the afternoon. Halal restaurants are quite far from the hotel. The hotel does have own restaurant but not halal verified.

Excellent view of Mt Batur from your room.. Drinking water is avaliable from the dispenser 24 hrs. Comfortable bed and working hot shower.

The WiFi was connected but wouldn’t load anything The bathroom smelt bad after shower Underneath the balcony is a little trash which could be cleaned Also not the owners fault but the people in the room next to us were shouting and arguing for 2 days straight, thin walls.

I liked the friendliness of the staff, I also loved the view of mount Batur & lake Batur The restaurant above is nice with great views too
