The place offers an incredible view — the panorama is truly unique and worth it. The location is a bit isolated, but that’s part of the charm of the area. The staff is very kind and helpful. The room and bathroom could be cleaner, although overall it was fine. We stayed just one night to do the Mount Batur trek.

There was no fridge so we couldn't keep anything cold even in the kitchen. It was also a very steep difficult access road.

the bathroom is see thru, someone can see me taking bath and also i notice the room might be left for few days and not re clean before we enter as i notice there is lizard feces that hardened on the bed.

The location of the hotel is strategic and facing to the mt batur, you can book a room with mount view.

The phone number listed on Booking.com is not correct, and the hotel does not respond to messages via the Booking app. There are no hooks or hangers or wardrobe in the room. It took three service requests and six hours to get hot water to the bathroom. The sanitary/bidet hose retaining hook was missing and thus the hose was just draped across the toilet. The toilet seat is not properly installed and is almost falling off.

Breakfast was good but not very substantial.

The shower could be better suited for tall people and not just a bathtub with a shower hose. Whirlpools outside very cold. The Garden needs a little Love. But Overall all good. I enjoyed my stay

This was not worth the money. I was in the bottom room, down a lot of steps - I think it was a suite. I think it was built in the 70s judging by the decor, and had not been maintained since. The sink tap did not work at all. I did not mention this to the staff but just used the bath tap which had hot water. The noise from the trucks going past? Well, I got used to it after a while.

The view. The breakfast was small, but the scrambled egg was really lovely. I am old and I managed to walk up the hill to the main road (twice) so it can be done. Coming back is, of course, a lot easier, and in the dark with my phone torch on, it was fine. There are a number of decent looking restaurants with balconies overlooking the mountains along the main road. I went to Ritakala which was expensive but really nice.

Very run down place, looks like maintenance of facilities is non-existent. Basin was clogged and not draining at all. Soap dispenser broken. Garden or other outdoor facilities in neglect and not useable. Lots of noise from trucks climbing the road well into the night.

the bed was noisy and the stairs down to the room from reception were very steep.. Lots of work going on to extend the rooms so very noisy

- The place is quite old, definitely needs some renovation/upgrade - Holes in towels - One of the staff is constantly on her phone, asked her 3 times to bring salt & pepper (there were no other guests) - The breakfast was very limited, nasi goreng was average taste wise, they couldn't make us pancakes "because they were out of pancakes" ... - The hotel is located up the hill on the street, so you'll hear trucks early morning - No plugs near the bed - No battery in the remote control...

- Beautiful view of the room: directly on Batur - Parking for cars - The staff (men) were helping my in-laws with their luggage bringing it down the stairs and helping us park every time

They really need to improve the food at the restaurant. Both dinner and Breakfast. Dinner, i had salad and the salad dressing was too sweet i’m not sure whether they out honey or sugar in the dressing, it was really disappointing. I also had a chicken peri2, it was so bland no taste at all and dry. Breakfast- the local (Indonesian food are okay) but the western options were not great too. My family and i ended up eating at the other restaurant everyday.

The water pressure in the shower/bath was very weak.

Hair in the shower from previous guests and doesn't drain well. Gap in the door, bugs and wind can enter the room.

Tub wasn't the cleanest, I had to clean it a little more before using it. But otherwise it was really nice and spacious. Breakfast was average.

The constant lorry traffic on steep road below! The hotel can't help that, but rooms could do with some TLC; I changed after first night. My room had lots of flies and felt rather careworn - the bathroom fittings needed attention. My second room, a floor up, was huge, and lovely bathroom (no flies!) I hope the refurb going on when I stayed will look at the small details too, and realise the potential.

Views were spectacular, especially from breakfast terrace. Staff very obliging and took me up to village.
