Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

The hotel is near to the centre of Ubud - perhaps a 5 minute walk - but on a quiet side street. The pool was lovely. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The food / breakfast was delicious. All in all, it was excellent value for money.

The location was brilliant. Set back off the busy streets of Ubud in a very peaceful street. Breakfast was delicious! Staff were helpful and courteous. Pool and gardens beautifully maintained. Smaller hotel with 14 rooms so not over crowded and other guests considerate of one another.

AustraliaI usually eat out for meals including breakfast. The breakfast was adequate for a small property. Coffee could have been stronger, but that's a personal preference. It's easy to find your perfect coffee locally if you prefer.
The location of Batu Empug was perfect for me. It was close to everything I needed. The room was a good size. The pool and gardens were lovely.

United StatesOne small item: some chairs in the Cafe are in the direct sun in the early morning, so arrive early to avoid the heat.
This small hotel is on a quiet lane and close to spas, restaurants, Bali Buda, Ganesh Books and Jalan Hanuman. Very clean, all rooms surround the pool, and a small cafe on site. Lovely pool, lattes, and room service Ii stayed solo, then returned later in my trip with a friend.
