The drainage in the shower is a bit clogged so the water stays there long and it smells a little once it’s dry. A bit of mold in one corner of the room (which is sad as the room is so beautiful).

Absolutely amazing place! And the view!! Beautiful room and terrace! There is even a furniture! You can have a breakfast/dinner brought to your room and enjoy watching the view from the terrace while eating! Magical place. Thank you.

There were some shortish power cuts but otherwise all good - wifi, AC and kettle were great!

Really loved my 5 nights at Batang Golden Hills! Stunning mountain views, it's pretty isolated but can get to everywhere on a scooter and you can get food and water from the restaurant bit. Family was absolutely lovely - arranged driver, scooter, and prepared lots of lovely meals!

Owner and staff were very nice. There were 3 cute dogs always waiting for us 😊. Room is spacious and the bed is comfortable. Hot water for shower work OK, Air conditioning work well.

Beautiful property! We loved our stay here. The hosts were very friendly & accommodating. The room was private with a beautiful view. Bathroom had all essentials including toiletries and hot water. Beaches & nature nearby... But you will need a scooter to navigate the island. The restaurant in the property had good food & they accommodated our vegetarian preference. We can't wait to come back. If you are nature lover u should definitely visit..

My stay at at Batang Golden Hill was truly unforgettable. From the moment I arrived, Gede and his family welcomed me with open arms and incredible warmth, making me feel right at home. The views from the property are breathtaking, perfect for anyone looking for a peaceful escape surrounded by nature. The rooms are spotless and equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. What truly stands out is the hospitality of Gede and his family: they were always attentive to every detail, providing personalized service that exceeded all expectations. They gave me excellent local recommendations, and the homemade meals they prepared were delicious, offering a true taste of Balinese culture. Internet (but I understand that in most of the places even in Bali internet unfortunately isn’t very fast) it was working but quite slow so I better used my mobile data most of the time.

I loved my stay in Batang Golden Hills. The people running the place were super lovely, I loved the remoteness and quietness of the area, views from our terrace were splendid, accommodation was very clean and very comfortable beds, road to accommodation was in good condition most of the time. I checked out today and already want to come back. Also I usually don’t write reviews - only if it is exceptional or the other way around but this place was awesome and definitely deserves a review. Thank you so much. Hope to see you again. Oh and the food in restaurant was also very delicious.

The bathroom was a little basic and the hand basin water pressure was very low, but we managed. Also it would have made our stay a little more comfortable if the room had a fridge to keep beverages etc.

The best thing was how friendly and welcoming the family that runs the guesthouse are. They made us feel very at home particularly Kadek who was very sweet. All food is made with love by the owners and the Chicken Satay is the best I have ever tried. The view from our bungalow was amazing over the hills and was very picturesque. The bed was incredibly comfortable.

I absolutely loved it

Batang Golden Hills is definitely one of the best places I've stayed in my life. It's a gem on Nusa Penida hills and a scape from the beach side. Your mornings will look like a fairy tail movie - waking up with the sun rising at your door, birgs singing and the amazing view of the tropical forest. They have the best Mie Goreng at their menu and your nights will be quiet and calm. The room is huge, forniture is new and in perfect conditions, hot water and one of the cleanest spaces I've stayed.

My stay at this accommodation on Nusa Penida Island was truly delightful. The family who runs it is extremely friendly and welcoming, which made me feel at home from the very beginning. The rooms were clean and comfortable with a small porch to have breakfast if you wish. Although it's a bit far from the center, the serenity and stunning views make it worthwhile. Additionally, the property offers scooter rental directly, which makes exploring the island and its various beaches much easier. The food served was delicious, and the peaceful atmosphere of the place makes it an ideal choice for those looking to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of Nusa Penida. It's important to be extremely careful when riding your scooter, always wear a helmet! There's a very small gym nearby, as well as some basic places to buy snacks, water, etc. The hosts arranged transportation from the port for about 250,000, and it's about a 45-minute ride, but it's worth it, and then your scooter awaits you there. Enjoy!
