Take care of warning the host of your arrival in low season in particular. No working bathroom.

Really nature with glow worms in the ricefield at night. Perfect to escape the city noises.

The Batan Nyuh Retreat is a wonderfully located glamping, in the middle of the rice fields. The place is simply stunning, so beautiful, peaceful and truly authentic! Nyoman is very kind and welcoming host who has a lot to share with his guests. Thank you so much Nyoman for giving us a glimpse of balinese culture and allowing us to have such an authentic experience. We look forward to coming back to this inspiring place and recommend it to anyone who looks for a local experience !

    Nothing we didn’t like.

The property and the view were amazing, but what made this the most memorable place was the host Nyoman. He shared so much about Balinese culture and his own personal journey it was incredible. From the yoga and meditation in the morning, to the dinner cooked over the fire at night, I really can’t describe how great the experience was.

Nyoman and Aju made this Retreat to create an accomodation that shows the real balinesian culture. Its goal is to preserve the rice fields from getting sold to bigger enterprises who build more hotels or villas... If you want to know more about the (really deep) traditions of Bali you have to come here! Thank you for letting me get so close to your family and your history!

Maybe a mosquito net would be nice instead off the closed tent fabric

Fantastic location! In the middle of the rice fields. Fireflies dancing on above the fields during the night. A very, very, romantic place. Nice wellness area too where the owner prepared a nice warm bath for us and we had a massage here the next day.
