The door doesn’t close properly, so there are a lot of mosquitoes in the room. We don’t share the same standards of cleanliness : there were hairs in the shower and a cigarette in the toilet

Unfortunately our aircon did not work, meaning we had a hand portable fan which was very drying but appreciate them providing something! Our room was so noisy and we were awake most the night due to what i think was a bar on the other side. I wouldn’t have stayed longer than a couple nights, which is a shame as it was great decor and lovely staff!! Internet doesn’t work well which wasn’t an issue but more of a note. Again for £16 and the amazing staff it is worth a visit just make sure you have aircon!

* Staff in restaurant weren’t very forthcoming which meant wait times were long. We ate out most of the time, especially if we had a tour booked early. * Blocked drain in bathroom - flooded after each shower and left a weird smell * Only a combination padlock to lock the door, we had our own padlock so used both * WiFi wasn’t good in bungalow 8

Room was not provided a lock for the door, so needed to use one of our travel locks from packs when going out. When arrived at 2:30pm had no towels as all in the wash, when asked again in late afternoon told still drying and will be given later, unfortunately we then were unable to find staff when we returned later that evening.

The temple is right next to the accomodation and is quite loud but didnt bother us too much.

Great location near the main strip and dock for boats surrounded by loads of great food places. Tim the manager went absolutley above and beyond for everything during our stay and the rest of the staff were amazing as well. We were able to rent bikes, get a private boat tour organised for us, use the kitchen facilities (fridge etc), massage spa place on site, AC works really well, comfy beds and clean.

I stayed at Bale Sasak for a few days as a solo traveler and had a genuinely beautiful experience. The place is quiet, cozy, and surrounded by nature — exactly what I needed to recharge. What made my stay truly special was Tim, the host. He was kind, helpful, and always around in case I needed anything, but also gave me space to enjoy my time on my own. Traveling solo, it meant a lot to feel both safe and cared for without it being overwhelming. If you're looking for a peaceful spot in Gili T that's still close enough to everything, I absolutely recommend Bale Sasak — especially if you're traveling alone.
