They should put up a sign explaining the wine in the room is not free. I should have assumed, but that one glass of wine ended up costing me 40AUD.

Was very pleased with this place. The staff were great, the facilities, the location, all great. It was very nice to have the cafe/restaurant there as well with reliable good food which was hard to find.

Very professional and helpful staff. Hadi booked a snorkelling tour for us at a reasonable price and also helped us get bicycles. The bungalow was clean and comfortable. The location is 850 metres from gili T port and on the eastern side of the island. you can just wake up and walk to the private beach belonging to the property and watch the most beautiful sunrise. The staff were lovely.The bungalow was well appointed, with a well stocked mini bar & tea and coffee. The breakfast options were good. I loved the fact they were eco conscious with no single use plastics.. They used metal or cardboard straws in the drinks and refillable water in the room and a water cooler where you could refill your bottles.. The location was fantastic and you can snorkel right from the beach and see turtles. We loved it here and wanted to stay longer.

Everything was great.

This place is fabulous. The location is perfect, right on the beach and only a short walk from the port so you don’t have to catch one of those poorly treated horse and carriages. Don’t use them. The breakfast is magnificent and proper machine made coffee is included. An incredibly comfortable and clean and quiet room with great wifi and free movies. The staff are lovely too. Cannot fault this place.

Beach lounges could be more comfortable. Staff in the restaurant are slow to acknowledge your presence.

Lovely clean room, fresh smell, outdoor bathroom. Well stocked bar fridge with wine and wine glasses. Cafe/restaurant with pleasant atmosphere and good quality food. Included breakfast was lovely..Very good snorkeling from the beach. Nice cats, well cared for.

Property is perfect

Bale Sampan was the perfect accommodation for us! We stayed in the deluxe bungalow, which was lovely & spacious with our own private balcony. The bed was comfortable with quality linen. It is positioned on a perfect section of Turtle Beach with a beautiful restaurant - food is delicious! We ate our breakfast & lunch here every day & could not fault 1 meal. All the staff are extremely friendly & helpful with any questions. They helped organised all our hiring of bikes, snorkels & snorkelling trips for excellent prices. We will definitely be back to Bale Sampan next year.

Loved the location. Easy walk from arriving at the port (750 meters)The room was lovely private and quiet. Close to turtle point but far enough away from the party area. The staff were amazing. Beautiful bungalows with private beach area and sun loungers for hotel guests to enjoy. Shower and bathroom facility was outside but sheltered and private. Close to the ferry port and not too far walk from some of the big bars but still placed enough away so it’s quiet and peaceful in general. Great restaurant too and helpful staff.
