I recently stayed here for 100 AUD per night and, unfortunately, the service and facilities fell well short of expectations given the price point: From the moment I arrived, the staff seemed ill-prepared. I don't think they fully knew what was going on to be honest. They asked if I had paid or not when I checked in and I said no and then we both just stood there awkwardly. I was ready to pay, but they seemed unsure of the rate and asked to see my booking. They only accept cash. My room didn’t receive cleaning at all during the stay. Inside the bathroom, I found a discarded Bintang bottle cap on the floor. The shower produced only cold water and had visible green algae. There also appeared to be black mould growing in a corner of the ceiling. There was a dusty basket in the bathroom with two toothbrushes but it was so dusty and dirty. Given the price, I think it's reasonable to expect a more professional level of service and better-maintained facilities. In saying that - the sense that I got is that this place was in its prime many years ago, and over the years its become super run down, hasn't been maintained, and the team appeared a bit blasé, disengaged and inattentive to what was happening.

The View is amazing. I loved our view from our balcony and the bathroom is so beautiful. The bed was comfortable and the airconditioner worked fantastically. This property has a lot of potential to be honest. It just needs a bit of a revamp and care and tending to. It feels like it hasn't been properly looked after over the years, so it's a lot more run-down than the photos suggest. I think it's super overpriced to be honest (1 million rupiah per night isn't cheap) - although I find Kuta Lombok accommodation in general very overpriced. The view made up for a lot of this though - I love seeing the ocean and there were colourful flowers planted in the garden which was really beautiful.

Sadly the staff have not been well trained, they are lovely people but have no idea how to run an accommodation property. There was no cleaning done in and around the rooms for the six nights that we were there, if we could have found a broom we would have swept the sand off the covered patios in the front of the rooms ourselves. This property could be stunning if it was properly managed. We have stayed at this property about 5 times over the last 10 years or so. It is at a low ebb now and needs some attention to bring the hospitality standards up. We don’t blame the onsite staff members it seems to be a training and supervision problem.

Access road is a dirt road. It's unpaved and very rocky. Our taxi had a very hard time driving up there. From booking.com, we couldn't tell that access road is very bad.

The zircon didn't work, there was no fridge though it said that there was, the toilet was blocked/didn't flush, the rooms were not serviced.

The first thing I noticed was that the project wasn't quite finished yet, and so were the stairs to the bungalow I was in. In addition, the base is already outdated and in places it is clearly visible that it is in need of repair. The cleanliness is not up to par and the room was not cleaned at all during the stay. The water in the bathroom is salty and only when asked is it explained that it is not suitable for drinking and tea. Even the overflowing small dustbin in front of the bungalow is not emptied after 2-3 days. By the stairs to the bungalow, there is a lot of rubbish, which does not come from the last few days or weeks, but from months or years, and seriously threatens the landscape facing the sea. The beach below the bungalows is not suitable for swimming and is very, very dirty.

It is interestingly thought out and partly executed, but..........

Although relaxing and tranquil, the walk into town is annoying along a very polluted beach and scary at night as pitch black and scary dogs around. You definitely need a scooter. The linen didn't fit the bed and the cleaning was not great.

* Stone cold breakfast with stale bread masquerading as toast. * the fact that we had to ask for clean towels, coffee & tea sachet refills and water. * the toilet kept blocking up and the shower had no shower head. We also had to ask for it to be cleaned. * rubbish piled up next to the staircase leading to the room which sat for days. * the mini bar fridge that froze drinks we purchased in town * rock hard bench on patio * nowhere to sit around nice pool * the young lads working here were friendly but did nothing but play on their phones or sleep unless asked to do

Bed had old ripped duvet. The top sheet was a single sheet for a queen bed. Very uncomfortable. From the list of drinks available only beer available. Fridge broke down. Staff friendly but did not know much.

The bathroom it’s outside the room so it’s not comfortable. The shower it’s really bad the pressure! No water ! The staff are really nice but don’t speak English so it’s really difficult to have a conversation. If they fix the problem of the water in the shower it’s gona be perfect place .

The location it’s great . The road to go there it’s really bad but it’s not a big deal . The swimming pool it’s amazing, the rooms are nice .

Pool is warm/no water flow so at least 30 degrees and no beds at pool. Multiple ussues with water to bathroom.

The hotel is in desperate need for maintanence. The garden is overgrown, the lobby is not organized or cleaned, the rooms had old and stained towels and sheets. This property has the makings for a great hotel but at the state it is in it was far away from giving value for the money. There was one drinking glass left by the pool and it was not cleaned away in the whole time (three days) we spent there. That gives me the clue that no-one is going around and checking if places are ok. I hope they can turn it around!

So nothing beats the location and the views! It is in a secluded little nook of the bay with no other hotels and you can get to the center by walking on the beach. Amazing view from the porch of our room and the pool. Breakfast was delivered to our room’s porch which was nice.

I feel that overall the hotel had a bit of a rundown appearance. The bathroom roof in unit 2 had a leak in the roof and consequently after a heavy rainstorm there was water everywhere. White pebble and cement combination platform for the shower had mold all over it. The TV did not work and I had bad reception for the 7 days I was there.

I feel that the breakfast were very good in in choice and quantity. This hotel has commanding views of the beach and part of the township, and at night time is very quiet. The views along the coastline are breathtaking
