Steps to the beach were steep but worth it. Beautiful beach.

Loved the relaxing atmosphere. All of the staff were absolutely amazing! The pool was fantastic - loved sitting beside it to read and relax and great to jump into when feeling too hot. The rooms were ideal, comfortable bed, nice little bathroom, everything that we needed for our getaway. The food in the restaurant was yum! The crispy duck so delicious!!

The restaurant had a beautiful view but lacked any atmosphere and the overall room was pretty tired. It was clean but the sink was yellow stained and overall in need of upkeep. The gardens beautifully maintained but the villas in need of an upgrade. All very clean and great location just some upkeep needed.

Loved the gardens and the pool and the staff all excellent. The massage was best had in Bali.

The gardens were beautiful and so well maintained. The location was great as well - a short walk down to the beautiful beach. Staff were super friendly and I highly recommend the banana pancakes for breakfast. Great coffee and nice cold Bintang.

We absolutely loved this place. Authentic, peaceful, beautiful gardens and views over Balangan beach. But most of all, the staff are wonderful. Ovie went pit of her way to organise burthday decorations and a cake for my husband. Felt like family. We will definitely be back

It's hard to say what I didn't like, maybe the newly built path to the beach is rather steep, and quite dangerous on a scooter, but I think improvements will be made soon.

The manager and employees are of very high quality and attentive to your needs. The accommodation is ideally located just minutes from the beach and surfing enthusiasts.

The food and restaurant ambience at Balangan Surf Resort are not great, but it's easy enough to pop into neighbouring properties.

We loved this spot as our first spot when we landed! Could walk everywhere with stairs out the front to the beach and some nice spots of dinner around, very relaxed calm area.

Last time at Balangan, I stayed next door and this place was deserted and closed for business. They have obviously undergone a massive renovation to the whole resort. The bungalows are really nice old Bali style with plenty of privacy. And the gardens are manicured to perfection, absolutely stunning. Pool is nice and well maintained. Restaurant has been placed in a great position for a view over the green space to the surf. Breakfast and food in general was of high quality. Balangan itself, is one of the few surf beaches that hasnt been completely wrecked by overdevelopment.I recommend to couples and families wanting a great Bali experience.

Cafe is sterile almost barren so kind of weird - could be so much better with the location. Food was actually not too bad so a pity the atmosphere is so lacking.

My sister found it difficult to exit the pool as there are no steps.

We enjoyed the isolation.A very unique area.So beautifully secluded from the busy tourist area. This is a small resort so time spent here is so relaxing and personal. Rooms are well appointed with a smart television. Comfortable bedding,good water pressure and great air conditioning.

Perfect, peaceful garden with nice pool, clean rooms, good shower, beach nearby, 3 min walk on stairs, restaurant with great food and ocean view. You can walk barefoot through garden, nice massage. Everything was great!

The property was very pretty. From the restaurant there was a beautiful view of the ocean. The rooms were spacious with a comfortable bed and an ensuite bathroom. The pool was clean and a very good temperature. The staff were lovely and spoke good English. They organised a bike and helmets for us with a day charge. You can walk down to the beach from the resort. The restaurant was really good from breakfast, lunch to dinner it was very good. We had a range of different meals.
