To many stairs.

Location, cleanliness and proximity to airport. We never ate at the property, so can’t comment on the quality of the restaurant/food. Overall, it was great for our stopover to the airport.

Room & breakfast.

The room we were given faced stairs so we had no daylight and the lights in the room vere very dim. Breakfast really didn't cater for european tastes except for toast & minimal egg options. The bathroom only had a mounted handheld shower which fell off the wall, was fixed but fell off again next day.Room was next to worker's site which was very noisy at times.

Bed is a bit hard but fine for a night or two. Pillows could be more comfortable but for the price of the hotel we're happy. Breakfast is average so we no longer pay for this as an inclusion but once again for the price it's ok

Massive deep pool. Located next to the beach. For a one night cheap stay before a flight it was suitable.

The resort is in a very good location. But the rooms are ok/fine as per the price point. When we checked in at night, the Air conditioning was barely cooling the room. The AC was venting out just normal air. The room has no fan and the lights are pretty dim. So we got disappointed at the beginning. On raising it with the owner, they said we can't do anything about the AirCon late at night as no technician was available (fair enough). They offered to arrange for a small table fan which helped us get past the night. They replaced the AC the next day and then it was cooling fine. The first morning, house keeping directly opened the room with a spare key, when we were asleep n that was a shocker. The uncle was very old n may not have realised that we had checked in late night. But it is a bit of a privacy issue. However he quickly apologised. The water heater wasn't working for the first 2 days, but they fixed it on the 3rd day (which was our last day at the resort). The people are ok and polite, but the facilities like AirCon n water heater should have been checked and fixed beforehand. However, they made a point to fix the issues and didn't ignore us, so in the end, we were satisfied that they cared about us n fixed things. So thank you to the staff.

Pool has broken tiles inside which are a hazard and need to be replaced. Our bathroom floor didn’t empty water as the tiles were wrongly laid. Some tiles (newley laid)on our veranda had lifted and were dangerous.

Room very comfortable and spacious, recently renovated..sheets were new and clean.Breakfast was good with a variety of choices for the buffet.

The reception is up a large flight of stairs, this is not a place for people that are unable to climb stairs.

The TV was not working properly for first couple of days, required 2 visits. The pool bar was not watched all the time and could do with an upgrade as not inviting to those who havent been before. The dogs very early in the morning fighting every day was obviously not nice to be continuously woken up to. We have been coming there for pretty much 10 years and have always loved coming here, so we hope that some issues can be addressed to maintain revisits from happy guests.

The cleansers and most other staff very friendly, including front security. Rooms are kept clean and are a very good size.

Always love my stays at Bakung Beach, stayed there about 8 times, can't complain about anything for the bargain price however wouldn't get the breakfast again, plenty of superior options around the hotel so not a drama. Clean pool, room was comfortable, aircon worked
