The beachfront accommodation is more ocean view! There is no beach to speak of!

The only downside was that the hotel is on a steep hill; even though it has parking, we felt it was safer and easier to leave our bikes below and walk up.

This hotel was really good! The staff were incredibly polite and attentive, the breakfast was simple but fine, the pool was nice with a great view, and the food at the hotel was tasty and affordable. Although you can’t swim in the sea in front of the hotel, it’s a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the sunset.

The bathroom could use a refurbishment. Maybe some smell traps. We understand the lack of a sewage system, but there’s still ways to keep the odors out. We had to put some wet toilet paper over the sink and shower drains and it worked.

Just a few rooms/cottages so it’s the opposite to crowded. The staff is very friendly and happy to support on any request. It’s well located to simply take a scooter and ride to basically any point of the island.

There isn't a swimmable beach within walking distance. There is no Grab service available, so you need to rent a scooter or even hire a private driver for the day to get around easily.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff were friendly and helpful, the place was quiet and relaxing, and the pool was very nice for cooling off. It was a peaceful environment that made for a great getaway. Really nice restaurants nearby.

Beautiful views and lovely young woman on staff who was wonderful, pool pump is not working so sadly chemically treated to keep clean no ladder on pool so first step in is almost thigh high, this property has the potential to be fabulous with a few tweaks

There are no steps in and out of the pool.

Stayed here for 16 nights while doing a reef conservation course. The staff were excellent. The room can be serviced everyday if you want. The bed is comfortable. Bathroom a little tired but clean and hot water was appreciated. The views are lovely. You will need to hire a bike to get around. The drive is a little steep but you get used to it.

Could have more food options

Nice small stay around 5 kms from the harbor. Neat and clean rooms with comfortable stay and ocean view from the balcony.

The breakfast options could be substantially improved. Although the employees were kind and tried to answer all questions, their English was not very good. They could make things easier by providing detailed written information about tours and transportation.

The place is far from the main attractions of the island, which was perfect for me because it was close to the dive center where I was taking my course. The facilities are clean, and the staff was very attentive and addressed all my concerns.

The hotel has a beautiful view on the sea. The breakfast is basic, but good and gives you different options. But the most important: The family is super friendly and hospitable. They brought us to the harbour on our last day. Thank you!

WiFi speeds were terrible. And our mobile network (Telcomsel) was also not working well in that 2-3km range. Weirdly everywhere else on the island there was no issue. The bathroom floor was always wet, and the tap was leaking.

The view was good, and breakfast was decent. There were many good restaurants/cafes and the night market was within a short scooter ride from the property. Was quite cheap.

The pool has no exit steps so would be hard for some to climb out and little to no shade around the pool. No kettle, or fridge in room so no access to 24hr tea or coffee but during the day staff would offer to make it for us. Beds are Balinese hard.

The view was amazing, lovely staff. A good breakfast included each morning. Amenities were clean with working air conditioning. Easy walk to food with accommodation able to organise bikes, taxis and day trips. Excellent value for money.

We were supposed to stay four nights, but ended up staying two. The traffic of the scooters came to our first hut really loud accompanied with karaoke nearby, and some wildlife yelling constantly (nothing you could do to the last one, unfortunately.) Was also expecting more beaches because Penida is an island, but to my surprise more rocks and cliffs than beaches.

The staff was really nice and helpful, and went their way to help us at everything :) after first night we were able to change our hut, and then slept like never - couldn't hear nothing but the AC. Really recommend getting a scooter to get the most out of Nusa Penida.

The couple working over there were very friendly and patient enough to understand and talk to us. Location is front beach and you will get Balinese village vibes in the early morning.

Small, quiet family run hotel. Nice gardens and the pool overlooked the ocean.. snorkelling places right across the road in the beach area.

Good location near cosy restaurants. Super friendly and helpful staff - good breakfast served on the terrace by the pool. We had 11 fantastic days/nights here.
