How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Although we stayed on 9th floor, we could still hear road noise from the main road very well. Please install double glass windows or better sound proofing to the room.
Good location and very friendly staff. They accommodate us to feel like home.

Long queue elevator, limited in building parking, crowded swimming pool with many hillbillies not using proper swimsuit.

Lift need to maintenance and slow to going up and down. During peak hours, we need to stay around 30 mins to going up and down.
The breakfast is variety and delicious. Near with indomart and bank atm in front of hotel. The staff is responsive and helpful.

Need to improve lift services because take time to going up and down even hotel has 4 lifts but still not accommodate the guests.

Pillows quality can be improved Aircon was too cold and not sure if it can be adjusted (I changed it to 26 and still very cold) Elevators are quite old and the capacity aren't that big.
Family room really occupied my family! Super spacious and beds are big. Staffs are great too! Water pressure and hot water works really well.

the elevator. only 2 of them function, need to wait 5-10mins. the toilet, especially the shower area very slippery. need to scrub the floor thoroughly because my aunt almost fell down bcs of that.

the guy handling the egg station is unfriendly and we have to mention repeatedly our orders which we ended up have to wait in front of him until he finished cooking out order, else, he gave it to someone else.
Loving the breakfast spreads, the room is nice and the area is quite close to the Botanika Mall which is good.

No smart TV, no Netflix/Amazon Prime, etc. It is really disappointing that a 5 star hotel doesn't have a smart Tv, which is standard even in the cheapest Airbnb rooms.

Shower drain was slightly clogged, took some time to clear the slightly flooded floor while showering.

We stayed at the other room far from the main road but the bathtub was leaking. So we moved to the other suite room with window to the main road (Jln. Pasteur), it was very noisy at night. It's too bad that they put the suite room at this position, my family cannot sleep well at nights.
The location is good, lots of good restaurant and food stalls nearby.

There are only two elevators and this causes people to overcrowd and delay in going up and down.

Well, the location is in the city, so there isn't really much of a green environment. The swimming pool is a bit small. The parking area in the basement is not adequate, so we parked at a designated area across a neighboring hotel. Also the noise from across the hallway and the street traffic comes through.
The room is clean, the hotel in general is well-maintained, and the staffs are helpful and friendly. I really like the room. The design was thoughtful. The choice of food at breakfast makes me happy. Varieties of bread and sweet stuffs come in plenty. They will make you sandwiches and cotton candy. There's cheese, yogurt, indomie, jamu, kebab, soto, bubur... I was all smiles during breakfast. We got a deal for the family room for three persons and breakfast was also for three persons. The location is in the city so if you need to go to places in the city it's a perfect fit.
