Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaThe pool bar wasn’t always staffed and it took quite a long time for drinks to come out after being ordered.
The deluxe rooms are great! Huge and very comfortable beds, icy cold aircon and amazing service from the staff.

AustraliaFor our family of five, we needed to split across two rooms, which were on the same floor but a fair distance apart. It also would have been helpful to have pool towels available in the room, or clearer information that they could be collected at the pool. A choice of both soft and firm pillows would have been great too, as we found the current ones a little too hard. The shopping around the hotel was quite full-on, with very enthusiastic shop owners, which sometimes made it difficult to browse without feeling pressured to buy.
The rooms were spacious, clean, and well maintained, and from one of our rooms on the 6th floor we had a fabulous view over the pool area. The breakfast buffet was amazing, with such a wide variety of choices. The pool was fantastic, though we were a little disappointed with the early 6pm closing time. We didn’t get the chance to try the rooftop bar and restaurant, but it looked incredible and is definitely on the list for next time.

United StatesThe residence rooms were out dated and didn't seem well kept. My family and I was going to forfeit our night and go stay somewhere else. We were offered newer rooms that made up for it. The breakfast was ok, not much diversity.
Staff was very friendly and attentive. Facility has everything you probably would need. Suite rooms were nice. Location was fine.

The Hotel location was excellent walkable to the Kuta Beach, we walked every evening for Sunset. The breakfast options were great and the breakfast was really good. The Aston Kuta was really worth every penny.

Qatarone downside was that the room I originally booked didn’t have a window, which wasn’t mentioned during the booking process. That was a bit disappointing. After discussing it with the staff, they were understanding and offered a free upgrade to a room with a balcony, which definitely made up for it.
What I really liked was the room—it was spacious, very clean, and well-maintained. The location is excellent, especially if you’re traveling, as it’s very close to the airport and convenient for getting around. The breakfast had a great variety to choose from, and the pool area was impressively large and well-kept—perfect for relaxing.

We had to find a place to stay for 2 adults and 3 kids at the very last minute after our flight was cancelled. We stumbled across Aston’s 3 bedroom apartment and couldn’t be happier. Great value, great location, beautiful breakfast and lovely staff. Highly recommend.

AustraliaWe recently stayed here for a week in a pool access Aston Suite. It was our 7th visit to Bali but first staying here. Check in was very fast and they let us into the room early as our flight had arrived at 9am. Check in is normally 2pm onwards but we got in about 11am. While we waited they gave us a cold glass of juice and we lounged by the pool. Reception staff were lovely and Julia was amazing for a chit chat and information about Nyepi which was on while we were there. The room was clean and tidy on arrival and was cleaned everyday with new towels available as needed. From the photos I was expecting more of a kitchen such as a microwave and toaster plus utensils and glassware but there was nothing other than a very small bar fridge and a kettle so that was a little disappointing. The bed was very hard for me personally, but my husband LOVED it and slept like a log every night. We had a buffet breakfast included in our fare and it was plentiful and very nice. An array of dishes from Indian, Japanese and Indonesian plus toast, cereals, eggs made to order, cold meats and cheeses, pastries and breakfast desserts plus coffee, tea and a choice of juices. Open 6:30am - 10am daily. The restaurant staff were amazing! Kristina and Widia specifically treated us like family. I even received a slice of my favourite cake delivered to our room on my birthday with a candle and a rendition of Happy Birthday to you! So lovely and thoughtful. The grounds are nice but lack gardens around the main pool area. The space just doesn't allow for it but there are lush gardens at the very back of the hotel. Having said that, it does mean there aren't many mozzies that live in the garden beds which is great! The location is fantastic. Far enough away from the busy areas to be relaxing but a 15 min walk and you can be at 2 huge shopping malls, many MANY restaurants and bars, Kuts Square, Kuta Art Markets, the beach, supermarkets etc. Within 50 meters you can get a massage, a t
