AustraliaSleeping security at 11 pm. 🤬 had 3 random people walk past sleeping security guard straight to my room and then walked up to my friends room (8) , we were sitting in the restaurant in the dark because they turned the lights off on us at 10 pm. I yelled what are you doing, they walked past security and got in car and left. I woke security up, he looked atrocious, very messy clothes and unkept to be kind. Made him ring reception to be told out of hours and can meet in the morning, I demand someone come now. Went to room (50 metres away) then returned 10 minutes later to find the security guard sleeping sprayed out on the couch again. Rang reception again, there excuse was people were looking for room to stay. Bullshit! My friends the 7 night and I 3 so not likely they knew people in the rooms at that time. That ruined my time there honestly. No closable gate from street or reception area. I personally think the security guard was drunk or had just finished his other job and used that night job to sleep, as he did not care or could not function enough to care. Yes cctv, but not much that did for us that night. But no back up to the issue. He was back on my last night. Keep in mind Lovina is small and it closes down 10-11 pm. I was happy apart from this. Oke.
Pool side room. Clean linen,spacious room good bed. Medium sized Fridge . Tv only 5 local channels. Free wifi get used by staff as was on extender. 3 Restaurant right a joining hotel ✅ next to restaurant is the beach maybe 300? Metres. Location is excellent really. 600 ? metres to dolphin 🐬 statue 700 metres to seabreeze restaurant perfect for food and unspoilt sunset. Next to that is funky bar, so can watch the action from seabreeze restaurant.. solo traveler but had to pay for 2 people and breakfast ( 4 options 🤷♀️ 🤦♀️) so I got 2 breakfast after I told them 🫣🤣 all in all good 4 day stay. Room 7 great ac.

AustraliaToo many cats lounging over the public places. People (3 males) tried to enter our room at 10pm. Once challenged they left in a car in the carpark. Security was asleep and they walked past him. When the property manager was informed and to check the CCTV, he claimed they were people looking for a room for the night, not intruders (Why walk past reception and a sleeping security person then check doors to rooms). Felt unsafe after thankfully we only had one more night. The property is right on the street with no gate and no security in place.
Location. Near the beach The room was in a perfect spot overlooking the pool. Close to the action of Lovina. The room was a good size. The bedding and linen was good quality.

UzbekistanBreakfast. I've never waited SO long for a cold omelette in my life. 50 minutes must be a kind of record. And when it did arrive the toast looked like it hadn't even seen heat. Daily, breakfast took an AGE to come. We tried to beat this by giving them a list of what we wanted the night before (with a time e.g., 8am) so the breakfast could be ready after our morning swim. This didn't work as they still waited for us to arrive before they started making anything. Also, three heaped spoonfuls of sugar go into every fruit juice. Not the best in-room wifi. The bathroom smelled of pee. The shower area had a stoned arrangement which, we're guessing lots of guests had previously peed on. This resulted in quite a strong smell of pee which we could not get rid of. We asked for room cleaning to try to do something about this but the result was the same. The hotel in general is strongly lacking some TLC. It's ill-maintained and paint is falling off the walls. In fairness, there was evidence that this was being rectified. The swimming area has NO sun-loungers. ZERO. When I questioned they muttered something about Covid and broken but coming "today or tomorrow". SPOILER: They did not come today or tomorrow. The pool was only cleaned after we asked for it to be cleaned. Even then a lot of the mould on the walls was left behind - and reappeared after a few days. The pool was 'cleaned' approx. twice in our 2 week stay. Cleaners will wake you up with their sweeping every day at 7am.
The family room was great. A great second mini-bedroom (not in their booking.com pictures) in which there is a large single bed where our two boys happily slept. The proximity to the beach is a huge plus for this hotel. Very short distance - you can almost walk out of the hotel, hold your breath and be on the beach. A good-sized fridge in the second bedroom. Nice spacious veranda. Staff were helpful.
