I stayed one night at Asan Rinjani Homestay before starting my Mount Rinjani trek. Lintang helped arrange transportation, guides, and all the logistics for the climb. The location is peaceful and quiet perfect for resting before a big hike. The morning pancake breakfast gave me the energy I needed to start the long journey. This homestay is a small pearl in a quiet and natural location. The food is amazing, freshly cooked and with local ingredients. We had a great tour with Bientang. He showed us around and explained every place and tradition in detail. We explored Tetebatu and can truly recommend to do it with him.

The only thing we can complain about is that we rented a motorbike that they managed to get for us and it didn't have enough power to bring us to the top of Sembalu, which made us a bit sad and frustrated, but there are almost none renting options around so at least we got to move a bit further. Maybe come with your own motorbike or just stick to the closer places, there's a lot to see by walk!

As soon as we arrived they welcomed us with a hot drink, which we really appreciated. During all our stay they were all so attentive and thoughtful, always trying to content us and make the best out of our stay. They also explained us many things about the area, their traditions and their culture. In only 3 days we created a great relationship and ended up sharing laughs and stories in front of a bong fire. The room was the best one we stayed in the island, spacious, clean, with a super comfortable bed and a hot shower!!! The breakfast was really good and complete and the dinners they prepared for us out of their menu were simply delicious! The location was incredible, next to the black monkey forest, in the middle of nature and in a village full of very friendly and welcoming people. My partner and I were looking for a beautiful, calm and natural place where to spend our last days together and we couldn't have chosen a better one. Whenever I'm back in Lombok I will not doubt to stay with this amazing family in such a great homestay again! I really really recommend it to everyone that wants to have a real local and fullfilling experience! 🥰

A hidden gem in the middle of rice fields, so quiet and peaceful, just what I needed to relax and recharge. The owner was super friendly and welcoming, and the food was amazing,l and absolutely delicious! Every meal was homemade with love and full of local flavor. I’d definitely come back again.

The location is amazing. What a lovely experience waking up to the sun rise in a breath taking place. The staff were extremely friendly and nice. Felt like home. The tour was totally worth it provided by the host for the waterfall, rice field and local traditional craft. Food is very reasonably priced and delicious. Can’t forget the beautiful cat! Will come back again!
