The only thing to note is that at night you can hear music from the bar next door, which might be a bit loud for light sleepers.

I immediately felt at home !! The staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly. The location is perfect, and the place itself is stunning. It is also very clean.The activities offered, the natural beauty, and the amazing energy of the hostel made my stay unforgettable. I truly enjoyed every moment here 🥰

It’s a bit noisy as there are a lot of bars close by.

Staff is very friendly, loads of activities to do everyday. Very nice place if you travel alone. The staff makes sure you are comfortable. The room was spacious and very clean.

There’s a lot of building work going on at the moment so it’s loud all day with drilling etc.

There is some construction work at the entrance which can be noisy in the day. This didn’t bother me at all but was just a little unexpected.

The PERFECT place to stay for a female solo traveller. So unique and comfortable. The staff are so friendly and the constant free activities are amazing. Met some amazing friends here and would 100% return.

That they didn’t adopt me 😢

Absolutely magical. The moment I entered the accommodation I was treated like family, which made me more at ease. I celebrated my birthday here, which I did the sunrise hike and when I came back, they sang me happy birthday with candles on a fruit bowl. They pretty much blew every birthday before out of the park as I never felt so special before. A special shoutout to Suma, who pretty much became my best friend during my stay and let me join her at the reception desk to chat whenever I felt a bit lonely.

I felt at home right away. Everyone is so kind, open, friendly - staff and guests. It’s small enough that you can get to know people without it feeling overwhelming and at the same time you never feel alone. A little sanctuary in the heart of ubud. I am so glad I booked Arya :)

This was no fault to the staff, but there was construction happening right in front of us the whole time we were there. It kind of ruined the experience for me :(

Loved the amenities and location! Beautiful hostel and fun activities. The kitchen was also great, so we didn’t have to go anywhere to find food if we didn’t need to!

Staff can be a bit loud while instructors are leading meditation/yoga so it ruins the experience a bit. Very noisy at night from a nearby bar where I believe they do karaoke. If you’re an early sleeper, keep this in mind. Drain in shower a bit clogged so it left a pool of water while showering. Sometimes there would be no running water in the bathroom (this happened mainly at night when I woke up to use the bathroom)

The atmosphere is so dreamy and I love that they include so many activities for you to relax and enjoy the stay. Check in was great, welcome drink was thoughtful and needed after a commute. I could sit by the pool all day. Lots of hangout areas on the property. Food was also good.

It was very noisy, during the day because of traffic and construction work on the property, I think they expanding the front and during the night because of bars/clubs playing music into the night, sometimes to 1am, it was difficult falling asleep.

Great location, spacious double beds, lovely room decor and nice staff. They have daily activities and spiritual programs; yoga, sound therapy etc. Free breakfast was nice. Daily 15mins massage from the therapist was fantastic and also the other lady doing basic file and paint.

The staff were so friendly including the reception, kitchen, and beauty therapists! It was like living in Barbie’s dream house - ALL the girls were there for the same reason - to just be girls! The hostel itself is so aesthetic, the beds are super comfortable, and there’s so many spots to chill out. There are plenty of activities in and outside the hostel too. Would come back again and again!

I stayed at Arya for 4 nights in total and overall was very happy with my stay. For a hostel, the rooms were lovely, there was plenty of space around your bed to store your stuff and there are also separate lockers. Overall the room was pretty clean, there was quite a lot of hair on the floor and I had to ask the cleaners to take a look at the shower as it wasn’t the cleanest. They give you a shower towel and a separate pool towel which you can change at any time. The food was nice, there are healthy options and you get breakfast included. The breakfast was slightly samey and I would suggest adding more options. It was a really nice touch that you get 50% off at the Inka spa - definitely book treatments here! It is in a great location with a shop across the road and a larger supermarket about 10 minutes away. It is also a 5 minute walk from monkey forest which is great to visit. I met some really lovely girls here and there was a really friendly vibe. I booked onto the day drip which the hostel organises in combination with their other hostel so we got to meet other people on this day too. The tour itself I would give a 3/5 as it wasn’t organised brilliantly. The driver turned up slightly late to start with and he didn’t make it very clear how long we were supposed to spend at each place. We were at some places for far too long as well. Considering we left at 9am, stopping for lunch at 3pm was rather late and everyone was really hungry. I also found the restaurant not very nice and expensive. I did the yoga which the hostel organises really good, however I only did it once as it was at 7am only each day which is rather early! I wish they had organised a few sessions throughout the day and perhaps an evening option. I would also suggest organising optional evening socials such as a paint and sip or games night (doesn’t have to be involve alcohol). Overall I would definitely recommend to stay here!

We stayed with a girl who was filthy so for our stay recently the shower was a bit gross, but nothing the staff could have done differently. But have been there before and had amazing clean roommates so still worth it.

This place the staff are INCREDIBLE!!! They remember you from 6 months ago, they are sooo kind, and the services you get staying here are amazing!!! I always meet sooo many people, am always made to feel soo welcome. They always go above and beyond and the extra offers like the yoga, cacao ceremonies, sound healings, movie nights, day trips all make this place amazing. It is in the best location too :)

The ladders to the top bunk had very wide rungs making it uncomfortable to climb.

Fantastic facilities, always clean and fresh. Staff were great, always ready to help. Arya wellness organise a hike to Mount Batur which was incredible. Wide range of activities on offer. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
