Bugs (maybe it’s typical for Bali but my other home stay didn’t have this many), smelled weird, thin blankets that were more like sheets, bed and towels were very stained. Said there was a mosquito net but didn’t have one.

The home stay is very central situated you are very fast every where just walking. Even though it is in the middle of the center, the building faces to some open space/garden areas so it was very quiet for sleeping. The rooms are extraordinary clean!

Room was not cleaned and trash was not taken out even once during our 5 nights stay. No soap or shampoo provided except once on the first day upon request. One of the rooms has a net without a covering sheet so anyone standing outside can peep in anytime. Note - place has no private parking - parking is on the street.

Wonderful place, very atmospheric, lots of character, excellent location, nice family, ended up extending and staying 5 nights, would gladly stay here again. Overall excellent value.

This was a very comfortable stay with a lovely jungle view from the room. My room had a fan, which was adequate at this time of year (July). The staff were very friendly and helpful. The banana pancake for breakfast was delicious.

The room had enough space and I was able to do my work from there. Wifi was perfect for my needs. Staff was always friendly and helpful and I really liked the central, yet quiet location in the middle of Ubud. Can recommend for sure!

The neighbors have a construction project so it was sometimes a bit noisy during the day, but hopefully, it will be done soon and it was not a problem at night or with the doors closed.

Sulendra is located on a quiet street just minutes from restaurants and the main road. Couldn't ask for a better location. The rooms are a good size and the family is very kind. The rooms are on different levels looking over the river, so they are pretty private. I appreciated the refrigerator and the spacious kitchen in the room .

Family owned traditional accommodation. Sulendra and his family are kind and helpful. It is wonderful to walk past the family temple on the way to your room. The location is great, walking distance to many restaurants and to the main attractions of Ubud.

The sink was too small and difficult to reach at the back of a counter. First 2 weeks the hot shower was spotty, sometimes no hot water. After several complaints it was fixed, very nice for the remaining 2 weeks. Privacy was interrupted often, as family did yard work in front of my cottage almost every day so I had to keep the drapes closed and couldn't enjoy the daylight, view or patio.

The bed was very soft yet firm and comfy, nice mosquito net. Quiet, private and roomy. The free breakfast was healthy and reliably on time, served with a smile.

The bamboo roofs where not there, which makes a big difference.. and the garden view they first tried to give me was more of a construction site.

Very good position in the center of Ubud. The level of the room is in line with the price paid, but the pictures are not exactly like the actual room! The toilet and bedroom could be cleaner
