Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. AustraliaLoved my stay at Arsa Homestay, a lovely family. My room was just perfect, comfortable bed, hot shower, and a great patio over looking the garden to sit on. Extra bonus the breakfast was super delicious and it’s only a 6 minute walk to the Yoga Barn (if you use the back entrance) central access for temples, tours, cafes etc.

This was my second stay at Arsa, a very nice family compound development. The architecture is traditional, and very appealing. The bed was comfortable, bathroom functional, and wife fast and reliable. Breakfast of eggs or pancakes was served on the verandah, basic but tasty. A BIG plus for me is coffee making facilities!!

An outstanding choice for the price. I toted up the cost of the tea, coffee and cheese pancake I had for breakfast each morning, and it worked out about the same at a local resto as the total cost for my accommodation. So the bed was free! Awesome.

The host family was so lovely and always happy to help, whether it be lending a raincoat or picking us up from the airport and arranging a taxi for us to get to our next stay. The location was excellent, close to everything yet still feeling private as it was down a little walk alleyway. The gardens were very beautiful and the dog was very sweet too!

AustraliaI thought the whole property and experience were more than acceptable, and will book again. There was bubbling paint on the lower walls from 'rising damp' due to a damp proof course not being used in construction, very common in Bali. I do find the 'partially refundable' less than a good idea. If I cancel immediately after I book, I lose 50%, not a lot of money, but unnecessary. They could have free cancellation until 3, o 5, days prior.
I normally stay north of Jalan Raya, but decided on this location on this occasion. I wasn't disappointed, a very nice property, a traditional Balinese homestay, individual units, with traditional architecture. Breakfast was good, wifi reliable, aircon good, and bed comfortable. A BIG plus was the provision of a 4 point power board, so that only one power point was required, for all devices.

We have stayed at this place a total of 4 times over the past 20 years. We LOVE this place. Excellent location that is easy to find and set back from the street so it is quiet and serene. The family that runs this place are so warm and friendly. Our daughters have gotten to know their daughter over the years. Rooms are basic but super clean, comfortable, and have a real Balinese feel to them. Outstanding location close to everything.

We loved our time at Arsa during our visit to Ubud. The setting was extremely peaceful and relaxing, and felt far removed from the busy Ubud streets despite being in a central location. We loved the outdoor space and enjoyed having breakfast and tea/coffee there in the morning, with beautiful architecture and a view of the family's temple within the grounds. The bathroom was basic but fine for our stay. We were made to feel very welcome and we were helped with queries about scooter hire and laundry etc. I also had a massage and body scrub during our stay which was amazing and very reasonably priced. We would definitely recommend this place and would come back again.
