The only small downside is that the town center can be tricky to reach during busy times. That said, we really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the location and simply planned our trips into town for non-peak hours.

Our stay at Angel House was absolutely wonderful. The rooms were very comfortable and thoughtfully designed, with details like universal power outlets that allowed us to plug in both North American and European devices without adapters. Breakfast was the absolute highlight. Angel, Kadek, and Fina went out of their way to prepare a varied, well-balanced vegan breakfast every morning, with different plant-based proteins — something we often miss when traveling. We got to try many Indonesian classics and fusion dishes - I still think about the Pandan pancakes we had here!! The team was also incredibly accommodating, allowing us to use the main desk area for important work calls, and their laundry service was excellent. We felt so well cared for that we ended up extending our stay by two extra nights. Angel House is a gem for anyone, but especially for vegan travelers looking for comfort and thoughtful hospitality!

Absolutely everything about our stay here was amazing. Angel House is located just a short distance from the centre of Ubud meaning you're out of the very busy streets but only a short (and easily accessible) taxi ride away from. The team are all fantastic. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and Angel made sure to greet us and congratulate us on our recent marriage. The breakfast each morning was absolutely delicious and really set us up for the day. The pool is great especially to cool off after a day in the sun. The villa is really lovely and encapsulates the beauty and greenery of this part of Bali. There are cafes, shops and restaurants nearby and there are no issues getting a taxi in about five minutes if you wish to go further. Thank you for a lovely stay and for helping make our honeymoon special - we will be back!

It was a little out of Ubud, which was a good thing if you are aiming to get away from the chaos.

Two things stayed with me as we stayed here. 1) while the pictures are all true to the place, the space is actually much smaller than it looks (great angles and photo captures).2) For the cost paid for Ubud stay: had expected a tad more than just basic amenities

Bear in mind that you’re outside of Ubud centre and the traffic to get into Ubud can be quite bad - however, we really liked the fact it was an oasis of calm after a day of sightseeing round Ubud.

It is a very long way out of Ubud and traffic is busy if you want to go anywhere by car it takes a long time. The the cooking facilities provided for us (we booked the whole villa) were not as mentioned , so we had to eat out every day. There were many good places to eat nearby , but we would have liked to have cooked at times as well. There was nowhere to store our food as the small fridges in our rooms and in the one in the outside kitchen were full of mini bar drinks.

The staff were happy , friendly and always wanting to make our stay the best possible. Pak Kadek organised and provided transport for activities and along with Mrs Wayan and Mrs Vina cooked our delicious daily breakfast , washed our clothes and ensured the villa (we had the whole place) was clean and comfortable for our stay. The beds were comfy and the bedding was A + There are many warungs , atms and shops for supplies a short walk away. Terima Kasih banyak to the staff from us all for taking such good care of us and helping to make our holiday a restful and peaceful one . Angel House Eco villa takes measures to care for the environment and is a lovely place to relax.

The location is great, just a bit outside of Ubud. Very easily reachable by scooter. The accomodation is very cozy and private. The abundant garden and cute pool make a great getaway. We loved the homemade, fresh and delicious breakfast and the very helpful host. Lovely massage done at the location. The rooms and very cozy and nicely decorated. Clead and neat.

Suggestion: to install more wifi router as wifi internet is a bit slow.

The property is very clean and staff are very welcoming and friendly. They try to help you in every way possible. Place is very quiet. Location is not very close to central Ubud . If you will be staying here you should definitely try Demetri Restaurant very good food and worth it.

We took the floor on the 2nd floor overlooking the pool. The room was very clean. Breakfast was fantastic and the hospitality was impeccable! Angel is really an angel! We wholeheartedly recommend Angel House Ubud. Sometimes the booking platforms delay payment to the hosts. To ensure the host get what they deserve, do consider booking directly with them.

This is a very serene environment. The breakfast was amazing with Angel’s in house sourdough bread! We met some other lovely travelers. On a busy road but down a little path and away from any noise. We were given a lift to the Ubud market for a tiny fee and Gojek is used in the area. Some restaurants and warungs close by, also a couple of supermarkets within easy walking distance. Would be a beautiful spot for honeymooners.

Not many places in Bali do this but it would be great to have a luggage stand to open your suitcase on.

The property was down a lane which mean there wasn’t any street noise and lovely and restful. The home cooked sourdough, jams, coconut yogurt, cinnamon buns and sourdough crumpets were delicious. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. They were able to provide suggestions of places to see and things to do as well as organise taxis. The pool was a great place to cool off in. The gardens are very beautiful.

Angel and her staff were so welcoming, my husband had broken his ankle and they couldn’t have been more kind and helpful x The villa was beautiful,spotless and had everything we needed and more! The gardens are so beautiful and the pool wonderful x The Balinese staff exceptional and breakfast was out of this world! Lovely and peaceful and within easy reach of activities in and around Ubud. I wish we could have stayed longer and hopefully we will be back in the future xx I honestly can’t thank them enough!! Xxx
