The many steps up to Reception and down to pool...but young people will not find this a problem The beautiful location of the hotel makes up for it.

Superb hotel with wonderful staff and amenities but people with mobility issues should be aware of the many steps down to the pool.. And back again!

The pool area is quite small for seating so you need to get down early to secure seats. Breakfast buffet is sufficient but it’s not as extensive as some resorts/hotels.

Amazing location with views and away from the hustle & bustle of the street but close enough to get to restaurants, bars etc. Loved the room pool for afternoon sun & downtime to ourselves.

There wasn’t a lot of staff at the pool bar so occasionally took a while to get service.

The view is amazing, the rooms are very spacious, luxurious and well thought out.

Surprisingly the swimming pool was our least favourite area of the hotel as it could have regular cleaning and the bathroom around the pool wasn’t great.

Staff were great and went above and beyond to make my birthday very special. Our room was fantastic and the breakfast was incredible. Also must mention the turndown every night was special even put the hotel slippers next to our bed. The view from the swimming pool is seriously worth checking g out

Caught between a big resort and a luxury small hotel - didn’t quite fit either.

Beautiful setting and lovely resort facilities and decor. Villa (two bed ocean view) was huge and had everything you could need. Great service from staff.

Pool water caused both my kids ear infection (pool waters should be cleared by chlorine) & my wife had a Balli Belly after in the last day due to teeth brushing with tap water.

The set changes to menu and not being able to have things some nights. EG we did 3 nights but set menu's meant we would miss say a la carte and it was Curry night. Not a fan of curry.

The view was amazing and loved the breakfast and our own pool. Lots of steps though but I guess good for the fitness.

Hepi went above and beyond to help my partner and I when we lost some personal items. She could not have done more. The hotel is in a great location with beautiful views. We will be back

Excellent hotel. Room was great, very comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. The hotel itself is exceptional with great views of the beach from the room. Breakfast was excellent each morning. Pool facilities were great. Hotel staff were very friendly and attentive throughout our stay. Would highly recommend to anyone coming to Uluwatu.

Many many steps. Think a more frequent shuttle to main road or beaches would be great asset. Maybe some type of golf type cart that could zip guests around locally

Everything was great! The staff is beyond nice. Great breakfast with a lot of options. The room was super big and comfortable, and had a beautiful view of the ocean. We were on our honeymoon and they gave us some beautiful details to make our stay even more special!

Although we arrived early, both rooms were only available after normal check in time. One of the rooms 40mins after normal check in. The sheets in this room were blood stained and not changed. Housekeeping fixed this quickly for us. High occupancy was blamed. We had a coeliac (gluten free food required) with us, there were not a lot of options and even basics had gluten. Staff were accommodating mixing menu options for us which was appreciated. Room service menu was very limited.

Views were stunning and rooms were very spacious. Food selection for non-allergy eaters was great. We would return.

We had a fantastic 4 nights at the Anantara. It was absolutely lovely. Excellent service from all staff, excellent facilities and location. Our suite was amazing (suite 308). The daily breakfast at level 6 was the best ever. An amazing selection of food. I would highly recommend the Anantara. Thanks to all for making our stay so so good :)

It was abit of a walk to the main road in the heat, but everything else was amazing.

The infinity pool & views from breakfast are truly amazing & beautiful. Everyone was so friendly, helpful & accommodating. The villa we had was beautiful & they even did a special birthday celebration for my friends 50th
