Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ItalyI stayed here for 5 nights and honestly, out of all the places I’ve stayed in Bali, this was by far the best. I’ve been to other accommodations with a similar price range, but none of them came close in terms of cleanliness and quality—some were really dirty and poorly maintained, unlike this gem. The location is absolutely perfect: right off the main street of Ubud, yet tucked away in a quiet side alley, so it’s super central but completely silent at night. The room itself was spotless, beautifully furnished with a modern touch that still felt in harmony with the overall style. The bathroom was spacious, and the shower had perfect water pressure. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the sheets were fresh and soft. I honestly didn’t want to leave! I even asked the host if I could rebook the place for when I come back to Ubud, but unfortunately, it was already fully booked. A huge compliment to the host—thank you for such a wonderful stay!

SingaporeThis isn't a big deal but it would have been nice to have a slightly bigger table in the room to work from, on a laptop. I have to be online for a couple of hours each day and that was just one very small thing. But I guess most people are in Ubud and Bali for a break, not to do any work. :)
Very central location since it's right in the middle of Jl Goutama, which is where most of the cafes, bistros, eateries and some shopping are located. It's literally "step out of my room and in a few steps, I'm right on Goutama". Despite the proximity, it is very quiet even during the day. The bed is comfortable and the room is cosy. If you're staying long, they can help you with a laundry service. Ibu and bpk are lovely people and I enjoy seeing their smiles every day.

PortugalThis place is a hidden gem in the heart of Ubud. It exceeded my expectations! The location is unbeatable - right in the city center, with shops, restaurants, and attractions just steps away. The room is spacious, clean, and comfortable and beautifully decorated. The bed is really comfortable and the room has a very effective air conditioning. The bathroom facilities are modern, with a great shower. The garden outside is beautiful, giving the place a peaceful, temple-like atmosphere. It's surprisingly quiet considering how central it is. The staff, especially the kind old lady who greets guests daily, are very friendly. Overall, it's an excellent choice for anyone wanting to be in the center of Ubud while still enjoying a peaceful, comfortable stay.

NetherlandsIf there would be a protection against mosquitos or spiders etc. behind the beautiful carvings at the wooden door it would be perfect but that is just a personal preference. However, we had no issues with mosquitos.
It is a super beautiful room in a lovely temple-like garden. It is very clean! and the shower is great. The location, at a really cute mainly car-free street in the heart of Ubud with nice restaurants and stores and a good vibe, is excellent. Would definitely recommend it! :)

New ZealandHowever, there were some issues during my stay. The shower was broken, so I had to hold it by hand while showering. The toilet got blocked, which was inconvenient. The air conditioning turned off by itself in the middle of the night, making the room very hot. Also, there was a power cut during the night. One important safety issue: the bathroom has two steps inside with no warning sign. This is very dangerous and could cause a serious accident, especially at night. I hope the hotel can fix these problems soon, because the place has good potential.
The hotel has a great location, very close to markets, restaurants, and shops. It’s easy to walk everywhere. The price is very fair for what the hotel offers. The bed is very comfortable and the room looks new and clean.
