Delicious breakfast, quiet and not far from Padang Padang beach (by car or motorbike; you can walk as well but the roads aren’t ideal for walking) and restaurants and shops in Uluwatu.

Clean, comfortable and super spacious rooms. The location was perfect, walking distance to loads of shop and restaurants but you couldn't hear any noise from the main strip. And the staff were so lovely, they made our stay at Amara easy and relaxing

The bathroom could have smelt better - that's just the sewage system in Bali though.

Astrid and the staff wee amazing and went above and beyond every time. The room was beautiful; and the breakfast was some of the best ive had at a villa ever. I would love to come back and rent this entire place out with all my friends! That would be a trip!

The noise from the bar behind can be quite loud. Air-conditioning is quite loud at times

Minor issues keep this from being a 10/10 accomodation including no filtered water tap for guests to help themselves, the bathroom water has a strange Sulfur smell & there is no TV in the rooms which mostly isn’t an issue since there is so much to do in Uluwatu. The pool is also 2m deep - so you can sit of the side of the pool, the steps or stay swimming the whole time.

EXCELLENT location - right in the heart of charming Ulu. Walking out of the hotel you are met with wonderful eateries, a couple of gyms around a few corners and a beach a short walk down the road. The staff are also the most wonderful people, so accomodating and always so polite, friendly and helpful. This trip was a dream thanks to Amara.

the service is really good abd the staff is really really nice and help you with whatever you need. The whole communication also works with an app where you can book all the services. We did laundry service and it was done under 24h. Also the in-room massage turned out really good and professional. Beach and a lot of restaurants are just around the corner. The whole hotel is beautiful - definitely recommend to go there.

This beautiful little place is situated just off the main road, with lots of little amazing bars and restaurants around it. Behind the private gates, it gives you a quiet and private area relax in. Rooms are spacious, fresh and clean. Staff couldn't be anymore helpful. They even text you the day before, for you to order breakfast on your balcony or by the pool.. They all know you and address you personally and the service cannot be faulted. We will definitely be back here!

We loved our stay here! The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel genuinely welcomed from the moment we arrived. They took a real interest in us and always made time for a chat, which added a personal touch to our experience. The breakfast was beautiful each morning — fresh and delicious. The AC in my room was very noisy & there were some small snags in the bathroom but nothing that was an issue

Great location just set back from a main road so you couldn't hear the noise but very convenient for access to nearby restaurants. Lovely pool and only a few rooms so in general it was fairly quiet. The staff were fantastic and I liked that you could order everything through an app, with breakfast delivered to your room. I also had a massage through their service which was great.

The pool and staff were so lovely. The room decor was lovely was lovely neutral and calming vibes. Breakfast was included and had a nice selection. Great location within Uluwatu, near panang panang beach and some gorgeous restaurants near by
