Lovely family and big, clean room

Very central, a lot of noise in the night

Close to center and low price, but wouldn't come here again.

The room was quite broken down and not very clean, it would need some renovation. The fan was really noisy and the music from a neighbouring accommodation was loud, so it's difficult to sleep.

I had a great stay here, the owners were really sweet and friendly, even gave me a motorbike ride to the agency to help extend my visa which was super nice. I ended up extending my stay, it's down a quiet path away from the hustle from the busy road. You can hear house music from the pool club next door throughout the day but this didn't bothered me, overall affordable place to stay for quietness

Room was spacious and clean with a big bathroom. Central location. Great owners, always around and did laundry, not included in price, but I was happy to pay. Nice to not have to take laundry elsewhere.

While this cannot be helped I did request a quiet room but my windows opened on to the pub next door, so I had music every night. It was not a huge issue but worth mentioning when you book. I would definately go back but request a different room.

The location is in the central area of the city. The host is receptive to everything and very kind, we remained friends.

I really enjoyed my stay at Alamanda. The location was exceptional, so central and at a great price and the host family was so kind and accommodating.

Location, price, staff

Breakfast was very good and the owners were lovely :) The room was in a courtyard filled with plants and animals such as a turtle and birds. There were a couple of friendly dogs too. The family running the place were friendly and helpful.

Despite being located some distance from the main road, the music from the local bars was audible and kept me up sometimes (all the music stops by 11pm though). The wifi was very slow - I often switched to mobile data.

The temple like atmosphere! Had the most loveliest of dogs and even better staff! They were so kind and helpful for everything

The traditional architecture is really cool & nestled away in a court yard was a perfect way to escape the busyness of Ubud. Lovely family & great value for money!

Centeral Location Nice balcony Fair price

They look at you as a walking wallet. Paying on the moment you arrive (so you cannot leave...) Very weak stream in the shower The water boiler is exposed above you, and the electricity cuts out while taking a shower. After a cold shower, I asked to move to a different room, and all booked off, so they offered me half of the money back and to go look for another place...I insisted and when they saw I'm stuborn the rude girl called her older sister who is managing the place, and she treated me with more respect, offered my money back, and to fix the problems (not possible, but nice of her). Because it was 22:00 I said i would stay the night, and move the next day. Got refund for 1 out of the 2 nights planned. Not nice, rude. Very not Balinese. Would not recommend.

Lovely family and amazing room for the price. Right in Ubud center, easy to get everywhere. I had a lovely time there.
