Absolutely serene. If you want peace and tranquility with good snorkeling on your doorstep this is the perfect getaway. The staff were awesome. Beautiful garden area with pool and nice rooms with daybed on your deck looking out to the ocean. Caught 2 mahi mahi with local fisherman and the staff cooked an amazing dinner for us. Would definitely go back again. Made is a lovely hostess. Terima Kashi

Everything Peace and tranquility Snorkelling Food

Staying at Alam Mimpi was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I spent two amazing weeks in this peaceful resort in the north of Bali, far from the crowds and mass tourism. If you're looking for a place to relax and experience the true spirit of Bali, this is it. From the first moment, everything was perfectly organized. I arrived at Denpasar airport in the evening, and the resort arranged a driver for a fair price to take me on the 3-hour journey. When I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the staff and led to my beautiful bungalow with ocean view – perfectly prepared with flower decorations and towel swans. Pure happiness! Every morning I woke up to the sound of the ocean and enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the open-air restaurant overlooking a lush tropical garden. The breakfast options were varied and always included fresh fruit, homemade bread and jams, and fresh juice. I also loved the à la carte lunch and dinner – every meal was fresh, tasty, and made with care. I never left a single bite on my plate! The pool and relaxation area is a dream – sunbeds under palm trees just by the sea, with drinks, fresh coconuts, and a peaceful atmosphere. It’s the perfect place to unwind with the sound of waves and a gentle breeze. There’s also a lot to do: massages, paddleboarding, snorkeling or diving right in front of the resort (the coral reef is just 10–15 meters from shore and full of marine life), and daily desserts with afternoon coffee. And if you want to explore Bali, ask for Nana, the amazing guide from the resort – he took me on unforgettable trips to waterfalls, hot springs, temples, Mount Batur sunrise, and even dolphin watching by boat. The staff at Alam Mimpi are truly special – warm, kind, always smiling, and ready to help with anything. I will never forget how they made me feel during my stay. I left with my heart full and a strong wish to return one day. Thank you, Alam Mimpi, for everything. This place is truly paradise on Earth.

A beautifully designed resort with many thoughtful details, a fantastic pool with ocean views, direct access to the sea, on-site snorkeling, very friendly staff, delicious breakfast, and a la carte dining. Highly recommended accommodation.

Fabulous 4 night stay with excellent staff beautiful gardens and lovely accommodations. Nice touch of afternoon brought to you on the property. Nothing to dislike… absolutely 💯

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles and genuine hospitality that instantly made us feel at home. The hotel itself is stunning – beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and surrounded by breathtaking natural scenery. Every detail has been thought through, from the comfortable rooms to the delicious meals served with love. The staff go above and beyond in every way – always attentive, friendly, and ready to help with anything. Waking up to the sound of the ocean and enjoying peaceful days by the pool felt like a dream. Truly one of the most magical places we’ve ever stayed, and we can’t wait to return!

There was nothing we didn’t like.

We loved the fact that the staff was readily available at any given time to help us with any concerns which we did not have any, but they always checked in to make sure we were comfortable or if we had any concerns. We loved the fact that they were available for transport for every type of excursion or otherwise that we wanted to take even to the airport, local shopping, and even a tattoo in a nearby studio! We loved that the restaurant was on site . The food was spectacular. You had the option to eat in the dining area or the oceanfront near the pool, or on your own patio. We also love that there were planned excursions that we could choose from to take day trips all planned transport etc., added to your bill at the end ‘just show up and enjoy your day’…. We OK selected and highly recommend the one to the waterfalls/ Buddhist temple/ Hot Springs etc, and the early morning, dolphin tour! Finally, I would like to mention all of the wonderful Massage package items that you can choose from…. My son and I got daily massages. I got a manicure and pedicure. I also got my eyebrows micro- bladed on site by Dani, the owner‘s . She is a professional studio owner, but will bring her a resources on site to the massage parlor steps away from your room). I could go on and on about what we loved, but you would get tired of reading 🤣

Everything excellent

Amazing Staff, stunning place!

Beautiful tropical garden setting with amazing sea view. Spacious room and bathroom. Lovely Verandah with a couch to chill. So tranquil, the sound of the waves nearly hypnotic.Fabulous Balinese food in the restaurant, ate there every night, different dishes, absolutely worth the stay, loved it! The staff are all gems, so kind and welcoming, happy and helpful, made my stay a delight. They serve afternoon coffee and sweet treats on the house, a very nice touch. Bit out of the way, I was travelling by motorbike so no worries. You can rent a scooter at the hotel. Water refill station in the restaurant area and kettle in the room.

Don't expect any white sandy beaches, the north coast is mostly rocky, pebbly with bits of black sand, all lava. The pool is a bit on the small side. Great scuba diving tho with reef infront of hotel. The safe in the room was truly portable so kinda pointless, but I felt so safe there I didn't even lock my room.

The location is excellent

Nice location, on the beach. Close to Yeh Mempeh waterfall, one of the nicest waterfall in north Bali. Also close to Dapur Bali Mula. Worthwhile a visit for Balinese food

Useful to have a bike or own transport as you are dependent on local transport otherwise and hard to bargain. No Grojek or Grab

Quite and nice place to relax from a loud city. If you want to relax near the sea and pool in the quiet place it it a great choice. Volcano is about 40 min away from this place.

Beach was clean but rocky. There is nothing to do around.

We liked the beautiful garden, facilities and quietness. All staff is friendly and helpful to make our holiday perfect.

If we need something at the garden table, it was not easy to find the waitress… maybe the small bell would be helpful.

Absolutely nothing

The location was awesome, beachfront & we had it to ourselves. Pure bliss. The most comfortablest bed that we've slept on in Bali. The food was great & the staff were amazing Snorkeling out front, they lent us flippers. Bit rocky getting in, so care is needed. We'll definitely be back
