AustraliaThe pool seemed to be very strong with chlorine. Our bathroom shower was high up and the whole room became wet when you had a shower. It was 5 km's from Amed, which did not bother us but is something to be aware of.
The location was great just a few minutes from Lipah Beach and walking distance from restaurants and Warungs with good coffee and food. The food at Abian was simple but good for lunch or breakfast. Rooms were basic but had what we needed. We asked for a fridge to go in our room which we got the day after our arrival. Pool was a good size and the gardens were nice. The snorkeling straight off Lipah Beach was amazing.

Netherlandswe had an unfortunate incident where we ordered two Jamu’s for breakfast and towards the end of my partner’s last few sips, he crunched on something in his mouth. he spat it out and realised it was tiny tiny pieces of glass. we initially thought it was ice but it never melted and confirmed it was glass. we suspect there was broken glass in the kitchen and the tiny tiny pieces of glass flew into the other cups. thankfully he is fine but this is extremely dangerous. the staff were obviously very shocked to find out and very apologetic - they couldn’t do anything about and we know it’s not their fault but it’d be important to do a thorough check and deep wash of all the cups in case other pieces of small glass went in..
good location and walking distance to lipah beach. great value. you get what you’re paying for. they offer bike rental & pick ups from the airport.

SpainGiven how spacious the room is, it would have been great if the air conditioning unit wasn’t positioned directly above the bed — the cold air hit us straight on and there was no way to avoid it (except turning it off). The bed really needs a mosquito net. The bathroom could use a deep clean (as is often the case in many accommodations in Bali), and there was a bad smell coming from the drains.
First of all, a huge thank you to the staff for helping us with everything, arranging transport and even finding us accommodation (I made a mistake and arrived a day early). The exterior of the property is beautiful—spacious, well-kept, and full of charm. The pool is perfect and the sun loungers are super comfortable. Just a short walk from Lipah Beach, and even though the road nearby is busy, it feels far away once you’re inside.

Our room was clean, well-maintained, and everything was in perfect working order. Housekeeping came regularly, ensuring a fresh and comfortable space each day. We especially enjoyed the relaxing pool area and the beautifully kept gardens. The resort’s location is also a big plus—just a short walk to the beach and close to plenty of great dining options. Overall, this lovely resort offers fantastic value for money, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. The warmth and hospitality of the staff made our experience truly memorable.

Abian was a beautiful little resort in Amed, located right next to the black sanded beach. The location was perfect for my snorkelling activity. It was great value for money, less than $40 for one night, it was comfortable, clean and the service was impeccable! The staff were so kind and provided me with iced tea upon arrival. Such sweet staff!!

Short walk to the beach with excellent restaurants and anything you would want or need nearby...from convenience store to a few excellent spas. Lipah is a great area to stay in Amed. Excellent parking area as well. And of course the staff...everyone was friendly, thoughtful, kind, helpful. I'll be staying here every time I go to Amed/Lipah!
