The staff is helpul for check-in, but there is not much interaction regarding where to go and what to do, besides a simple printed guide in everyone’ room.

It’s a very nice, clean and cozy place where to spend a few days in a chilled and calm environment. Our triple room was pretty big and with a very nice bathroom. It’s great that the location is not in a loud area.

The rooms are lovely - dorm beds are big and private. The pool has a quiet area which is good for working as well as relaxing. The kitchen and fridge are a rare bonus.

The property is really beautiful and although it is not a very social hostel it was very cozy. But maybe that is different in high season and depending on the people staying there. The hostel host is very nice and offers early Yoga lessons for very cheap money. Would recommend even if it’s located a little outside of the busier places. I enjoyed the calm environment.

I’m really glad I found this place through a friend’s recommendation. The stay itself was perfectly fine – clean, simple, and comfortable. But what truly made it special was the atmosphere and the people. Yana is such a lovely and kind host. She welcomed me with so much care, shared her yoga practice, and gave me the best local tips. The kitchen stuff needs a renovation.

The surfhouse place is amazing. We felt very comfortable during the whole stay: big and comfortable beds, nice bathroom and shower and very cool shared rooms like the kitchen and the pool. It was everything very clean and we had air conditioner too. We would repeat for sure. Hosts were also kind and helped us to rent motorbikes.

They don’t clean the rooms while you stay there at all

The swimming pool area is great. I also appreciate they have a communal kitchen to cook. The rooms upstairs are great as they get a lot of light. Staff is very friendly and helpful

Lighting in the kitchen was barely adequate after dark. A microwave would be useful though. You need a scooter, or Grab (Uber) daily if you want to go anywhere because this is really out of the way. No buses, and it's too far to walk anywhere, except to the convenience store (only 500m) The nearst beach is 2.3km down a steep hill, so it's a hike getting back. Deck chairs by the pool are very hard to sit on, needs a pad to enjoy sunning by the pool.

The bed was very comfy, pillow was good, a/c was great. Toilets/showers satisfactory. The pool setting was lovely and very enjoyable. The kitchen was great, all the necessities were provided. No mosquitos, very quiet at night, good class of guests from Europe mostly. Wiran, the host, was very helpful and quite a fun guy. I asked for a toaster and the owner supplied one the same day! The kitchen was spacious and airy, a really nice atmosphere for enjoying a meal, clean, comfortable. I enjoyed my stay and would visit again in the future.

we have been travelling in asia for over a month, and this is the best place we stayed at so far. very clean, comfortable and quiet. the common kitchens is something we rarely use, but this time we had most of our meals there since it was very clean and constantly maintained by the staff. you will need a scooter if you want to know the area better, but it’s not at all necessary, since there is restaurants, supermarkets and coffee places around. if you’re looking for a place to just relax by the pool, this is the perfect choice.

The atmosphere is so peaceful and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful . The rooms are spacious and clean, with surrounding nature. The pool area is perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. It's close to some great local restaurants and beautiful beaches. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a tranquil retreat.
