    “It was just an overnighter after the Mt. Bromo tour, so we basically just slept and left. The stuff was nice. We had a very early flight the next day and they prepared a take away breakfast for us (fruits, omelette, salad, bread, jam…). We were too tired to go for a dinner somewhere in town, so we had one in the hotel. It was really good! Of course with the hotel prices, but still not really expensive.”

The breakfast was fantastic, very rich and varying from sushi and misho, to traditional Indonesian dishes and salads, fresh fruits and western specialties. Staff was extremely polite, helpful and flexible. The value for money is just great!”

    “We loved our room, bed queen size, an extream floor for the breakfast, swimmingpool and gym. The building gives you a wonderfull view of the city. I appriciate that they brought our luggages to our rooms. We are not use to!”

    “What a place! A grand old Dutch colonial building built in 1910 and steeped in history, particularly in relation to the revolution of 1945. Perfectly placed in Tunjungan Rd, close to the shopping centre with lots of eating places around. Magnificent rooms, wonderful breakfast, a stunning old world style hotel. It's a destination in itself.”
