“The guesthouse was built by Hassim on top of his home. He is an incredibly generous host and makes a point that it is as much your home as it is his. He would regularly make food for us and took us to see incredible sunsets on the beech and in the mountains. This is the perfect base from which to explore Lombok and you couldn’t ask for a more authentic experience.”
“I was booked in with Hasim for a total of 3 weeks. It was my home base, so to speak, from where I started several trips to other islands. Hasim and his family looked after me perfectly. I had a lung infection in between and he accompanied me and translated for me when necessary. The food with his family and in his restaurant was excellent, traditional and very tasty. I felt very comfortable in his accommodation and can recommend Kunci Rumah to anyone who wants to get to know local life and is not expecting a luxury vacation.
